It appears the credit is very restrictive of what it can be used for though.
That’s why I pass on these boxes….
None of the samples I received were available when I tried to use the credit. Also, similar items that were available for credit use cost more on Amazon even with the credit considering the $5.99 shipping charge. I won’t do this again.

Yeah, I STILL haven’t figured out how to use my k-cup credit from back in March. Never seems to show up in my check out process even if I select items sold and shipped by Amazon. Any suggestions, folks? If I can get this to work, I wouldn’t mind trying these other offers, but I’m hesitant.

I did the Jerkey one last time. Same thing. I could not seem to find 1Jerkey item the credit would work on…Would be nice it they made it a little more obvious!

type AmazonBasics to the search box and you can see all the products that are sold+shipped+fulfilled by Amazon. i learned the hard way from a previous amazon promotion that their “credits” are very specific on what that can be applied for. just a heads up–check to see what credit qualifies for beforehand… so you’re not frustrated later and waste a ton of time figuring it out like i did
Love the idea of the sample boxes, just not how little I can use my credits for.
I had to call customer service to get my credit for the jerky box.. It took a while to explain to her but she ended up sending me a link to the items I could purchase and the credit. Between the credit and s&s I ended up getting a really good deal on a bulk package of jerky.

Thanks for posting these! I didn’t know they had so many. I like the idea of this, but when I looked through the items that the credit can be applied to, I noticed that it might actually be more expensive. It seems like a lot of these items (the cleaning/ soap items, for example) are on sale in stores a lot, so it might be better to buy the items you need and try samples at from Gain, etc. from the dollar tree.
Also, I ordered one last time they were available and still haven’t received it :/

i was able to order the snack box too. said it should ship in about 10 days.

I have previously gotten the jerky and dried fruit boxes. The jerkey box was amazing had well over $25 worth in it for 9.99 and was able to use the credit on an s&s item that made for an awesome deal. The dried fruit box was worth the 7.99 but thats about it and there wasnt much I liked to pick from for the credit. That said its a fun suprise for only a few bucks and nice that you get the credit on top of just buying the box 🙂

Thanks!! I’m trying to finish packing my hospital bag so it’s ready to go when I go into labor. I snagged the snack bar sample box, so my husband doesn’t have to make trips and waste $ at the vending machines. Bummed the other snack box was already gone, I would have grabbed that too. I bought the bamboobies nursing pads you posted a few days ago and they were already delivered yesterday! They went straight into the hospital bag as well. I can’t thank you enough for all the deals you post. This is my first baby and I have snagged so many great deals from your posts, from a beautiful crib to registry welcome boxes, etc.

If youre unsure if there would be anything youd like to use the credit on as its limited for some items. Scroll down to the product description and there will be a highleted part you can click and see what the credit can be used on. It also appears they show what may be in the box if you scroll down too 🙂

I ordered the jerky sample box and the dried fruit one and loved both of them. I redeemed the jerky one, very easy. The email you get telling you your promo credit has a link to the pages of items you can spend the credit on.
The dried fruit was the same. In the dried fruit sample box was a bag of coconut chips and I love, love loved them. But, they were not eligible for the promo credit. So, I did the live customer service chat, she found one of the coconut chips sold and fulfilled by amazon and gave me a $7.99 credit toward the purchase of them.
If you ever have an issue with your order, or want to see if they can do something for you, their CS is so fantastic. Just ask! They take the time to look up items for you, help solve your issue, in my experience, they will make it work for you.
Thanks for the tip, about the $7.99 promo credit. I just ordered the Dang Toasted Coconut Chips ($13.99) and the online Chat representative was able to give me the $7.99 credit. I agree, those chips are the best!

From other types of promotional credits Ive received from Amazon I was told there is not a place to check. They will just apply at checkout with eligible items.. If there is another way I would love to know but that is the answer I got from Customer Service
It doesn’t show up anywhere except your cart of eligible item.
The details state that it is automatically applied to your account and the discount will reflect at checkout with qualifying items. Hope that helps!
You should get an email once the items SHIPS, it will state that you have now earned your credit and that it can be used on future orders and I believe it also tells you how long it lasts (there is an expiration date).
I got the syrup sample one. Even if I don’t use the credit I think it’s still a good deal for 8 samples.
I agree. I love that brand of syrup but sometimes I don’t want to buy a full size of a flavor before I try it. My favorite is adding the desert pear syrup they have to sprite or 7up. It’s like the pear of dice soda disney offers in cars land.

The credit can be used towards items that are “like” the ones in the box that you are purchasing. For example the snack box credit would go towards select snack items. Hope that helps!

Got the suds box! I’ve been wanting to try the gain products but, they are expensive. Now I can try it and buy it if I like it with the credit!
I went ahead and ordered the beauty box. If I understand correctly, I will be able to order some of the same brands in the box. I am fine with Loreal products, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to use my credit. I think last time they did a beauty box you had to use the credit on some very high end items that I probably wouldn’t want to spend the money for.
I ordered the protein bar one. I’m always looking for new and different ones to try!

When I went to Amazon and did a search for sample boxes with credit, the first thing in the list was for cookies at $4.99. It popped up that I would get it when it became available. There should be at least 5 samples in the box.

I just received my cookie sample box from the last deal and it has 4 good size samples (3-4oz) and 3 small samples (1-2oz). It seems like a good deal and has a nice variety of brands… the kiddos are excited to try them all 🙂

Several people have asked about redeeming the $9.99 credit from the jerky box Amazon offered earlier this year, so I wanted to share what I just did.

Right now Ball Park jerkies have a coupon for your first Subscribe and Save delivery. It’s $1 for the small bag but $2 for the bigger 5 oz. bag. But the best part is that you can use the coupon again for each different flavor of jerky! (There are 5 different flavors).
So here’s what I did.
I chose one 5 oz. bag of Barbecue Pork, clipped the $2 coupon, then chose Subscribe and Save. With my 15% discount and $9.99 credit, it was free. When I visited my grandmother for her 90th birthday last month I learned that she really likes the flavored coffee syrups; my aunt normally gets them from the dollar store but they have limited flavor options. For those wondering about promo credits. I recently noticed I get a separate email upon shipment with the subject “Benefit Confirmation for your Order” This doesn’t come until the order ships but then contains a link (Additional information on this offer can be found here) -that shows the relevant products.
I also noticed that once you click the link it says that the promo code is not active until 7 days AFTER the product ships. I’m assuming they are hoping the contents of the box will influence your purchase.
I got the fruit sampler box and they sent an email detailing the way to use the $7.99 credit. I made sure to save the email so I can just click through the link to eligible products. This may be helpful to those having trouble using the credits.
