Thank you thank you! Glad we waited on the pool

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  2. April B

That is a great deal! I bought one last week when the deal was going on. IS there anyway to get this price adjusted?

    • vmm

      phone call to customer service.

    • Kab199

I just called Kohls customer service and they refunded my kohls charge the difference since i just ordered it the other day. So they said it would take about 2 days to credit the $30 for the 10%. I spoke to Charlene and she was very helpful and quick.

    • April B

FYI – I called, and they said they have to file a claim and send it to the credit department. It will take 24 hours for them to get back to me to let me know if they will credit my account for the 10%

  3. Barbara

I just called for price adjusting b/c I ordered one last week and they said no…I have to go to store to return it and purchase it again…..unbelievable! !

    • Schuwoman

Why would they want to pay for shipping again? I would call back and talk to a manager.

      • Barbara

        I did talk to manager….
Not that THEY would have to pay shipping–they want me to return it….then buy it right back while I am still at the store so they can stack the codes….they said can’t use hip2toys on a purchase made May 13th cuz coupon code just started today!

    • kelly

You don’t want the water slide. just return it and save your money for something good. I have it and hate it. it is such a pain. I hope that helps. good luck.

      • Barbara

I’m thinking I’m just returnin it! Thx!!

        • Li

I bought one and used it for 2 summers before the dog chewed a hole in it. It is was a lot of work, but I thought it was worth it. My kids played on it non stop. You do need a big yard because it drains every time you turn off the blower. I have over an acre and moved it around the yard so that no area would get too sloppy. It works great for kids up to about 10 years old.

        • Brit

For $188 and $30 cash plus 6% ebates it’s worth it even for one summer

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry to hear you didn’t care for it! 🙁 Thanks for the honest feedback!

  4. Marie

I bought one of these 2 years ago, and it barely made it through that summer. Not well made, does not patch well, and if it patches well you will need way too many patches to keep up with.

    • Marie

      The Bonzai slide that was

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the review Marie! Sorry to hear it required a lot of patching!

don’t waste your hard earned money on the water slide. I have 4 kids I know what I am talking about. First the motor is loud. which means if a child needs help near water they can drown in its hard to hear. I do not leave my children in a pool but there is always that one bathroom emergency that turns into a disaster. The motor HAS to be on to hold any water. Which means the water will not have time to warm up. My water comes out of the hose very cold. Next if it is not completely dry when it is stored it will mold. It takes awhile to dry. It takes a lot of space to store. It is heavy. small and large kids have a hard time climbing it. In theory this is a great toy. but go with a dry bounce house.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Thanks so much for sharing your experience!

  6. Liz

I bought the bonzai brand of a different slide at kohl’s at least 5 years ago on a deal and we still have it. It had lays a long time. It now has a tiny hole in it but it still works great. I have been pleased with it especially with the price!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear it has held up well for you through the years Liz! Thanks for sharing!

  7. Brit

We had the slide for 3 good summers. It does get moldy if you don’t store it “properly” which is almost impossible to do. At this price, it’s worth it if it only makes it one summer. It’s heavy and bulky and to be honest I’m glad it died this year. That being said… Considering a new one…….

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for sharing! Good to know!

  8. elainemak1

Does anyone have any idea how much it costs to supply water to a pool like this? Is it worth it?

    • Brit

Our water bill doesn’t seem to skyrocket in the summer (we also have in ground sprinklers) but our yard isn’t flat so the pool never gets full. You can actually just trickle the water out of the hose so it sprays from the top to keep the slide wet

  9. Liz

Can you still use 30% code if you only put a portion on your looks charge?

    • Brit

      Yes

      • Liz

        Thanks!

  10. shelly

I just spoke to a VERY rude customer service rep, Alex, who refused to adjust my order. I guess I will have to carry the slide in to the store for a refund.

    • Deb

Frankly, I’d call back and see what a different agent says first… 😉

  11. Tonya

We have this water slide and haven’t had any problems with it. This will be our 3rd summer with it. We bought it on a deal like this 3 years ago ! I have 3 kiddos who love playing on it and it’s held up well and is worth the money to me !

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Happy to hear that Tonya! Thanks for the feedback!

  12. Kristina

I plan on buying this slide. Can people who own it give me some set up and take down tips, plus tips on how to keep it from being destroyed(house rules you make your kids follow?)

    • Summer

We bought this slide and used it all summer. Turn it off and let all the water drain out of the pool, and then turn it back on to help it dry. We didn’t let the kids take toys up the slide or in the pool. Obviously you want the ground to be fairly stick-free. My two kids and friends played on it quite a bit, and I honestly thought it was great. It is a hassle to fold up and store- but I expected as much. We also didn’t notice a huge spike in our water bill. I agree that once the pool is semi full, I turn the hose down to a trickle.

    • Stacey C

I have this slide also. I put a tarp under mine and doubled it just to be safe from sticks/rocks. It does not take much water and the hose can always be turned down just to a trickle for the slide to be wet Kids have a blast on it. No toys no in and out and only one down the slide at a time. Empty and blow back up to air dry.

  13. Court

Thank you! Pool and cover for less than $100 shipped. We won’t have to suffer thru another miserable Florida summer without a pool to cool off in this year. So excited!!

  14. Tiff

  17. Tracey

    Kohl’
s did not honor the hip2toys on the pool. Just a FYI they said they don’t honor 3rd party coupons. Bummer I could have said a additional $12.50

Try to call back. I called earlier and they told me I couldn’t use that promo code because I already used a percent off code so I just waited and called back later. I just applied it to my order I placed yesterday with no problems when I called back.

  18. Renee

is this expired??? it doesn’t say expired on this page but when i try to enter the code at checkout it says expired…am i doing something wrong or am i a day late 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)
