These are from Brazil and are very high quality. I still have pairs that I purchased when I traveled to Brazil in 2004. In Brazil I want to say I paid around the equivalent of $5 though
$1 flip flops last a season for me if Im lucky. I have the same havianas from 8 years ago. The material is very different. I love mine.

Not sure how we could be talking about the same sandal! I bought some of these at Bed Bath & Beyond on clearance (& they were an additional 50% off, so they were only around $3) but they were simply the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever put on my feet! I didn’t hesitate to return them because they were so uncomfortable that I felt ripped off even at only $3!
Bed bath and beyond has Havianas this year, even in store, where you can use a 20%. So it would be about $12.70- a dollar more but I don’t have to pay shipping or buy a beauty item to get it shipped.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Havaianas! They are worth every penny even full price. They are super comfy from day 1 and last for a long time. I was excited to see Kohls.com had them about a month ago so I could use coupons and have them shipped free to me.
I have a pair of black Haviannas that I bought on a cruise in January. I paid $19 and almost returned them because I usually hate plastic thong flip flops. I’m glad I decided not to because I love them!

Havaianas are the best flip flops ever, they cost a little more, but the quality is really good and they are super comfortable to walk in. I have owned a few pairs for at least 5 years and they are still going strong. I have walked over 20,000 steps a day in them before and my feet did not hurt, if you are on the fence, I say go get a pair and try them out!

Havianas are seriously so comfy, worth every penny, I had two pairs and they lasted 5 plus years, this year I finally bought a few more. I bought a pair of cheap $2 ones at old navy and they felt a little odd to me, my feet are spoilt now hahaha
I’m sold, but what size should I get? I’m about a 6 1/2-7 but they have 5/6 or 6/7?!
I’m with everyone else. These are amazing – nothing like any other pair of flip flops. I picked a pair up at Nordstrom Rack in December of 2014 and they look and feel almost like new. Really, do yourself a favor and try these out. I never wear my Old Navy ones anymore. Also, the printing/design doesn’t chip off.
I have so many pairs but really love my skinny strap ones the best. I was really sad though that both of my silver ones recently broke..one in October and the others last week. I did have them both for at least 5 years.
Best flip flops ever. I’ve had mine well over 10 years (several pairs) and they’ve gone to the beach with me, walking miles and just out and about. I was skeptical once upon a time too, but i’ve never ever bought any other brand of flip flops since.
