Some people get lucky with what brands their local Dollar Tree carries

    • Charlotte's Mom

Yeah I never see these great brands at the Dollar Trees near me.

  2. Dee

Be aware, the Fleischman mixes require Greek yogurt to bake.

Thanks for the helpful feedback! Good to know!

the dollar tree by my house less than a mile away, doesn’t really carry name brands often, mostly the generic stuff, so i never have luck there. i was about to give up. then…
driving one day, i noticed one 4 miles further away and decided to stop in and check it at. (i always carry my coupons in the car with me)
it was a home run. i spent $24.00, but in the end i just paid the sales tax of $1.44. they had dukes mayonnaise, werther’s caramels, soft soap, brut deodorant, luigi ice’s and triaminic cough medicine. from what i was told, different dollar tree’s carry different stock and i was told they might carry dukes mayo this week and next week it can be kraft miracle whip, or generic brand. on one trip they had pasta by barilla, haven’t seen it since at that store, since it was sold out.
basically it’s a hit or miss, timing and having the right coupons for the products they carry.

Lucky you!! My dt only allows you to use 2 coupons.

i would venture to guess that each dollar tree coupon policies varies. if you ask me, depends on the cashier too. their mood for that day. lol

I love the Greek yogurt mix! I served my family tonight and substituted the eggs for apple sauce and every muffin was eaten! Very healthy! At our grocery store the same thing was almost $4!! The yeti pot I bought (wish they had the saline) retails for around $14 online! Yippee and I get soooo much for so little it surprises me! I love to get character band aids and bath bubbles for $1 compared to $3 each for my son! I’m so in love with dollar tree!
I also picked up dust pans and squirt bottles to cut hair with! So much cheaper than at the professional stores!!

Ps- kitty pan liners are not a good buy. Too thin and they fall easily without enough slack to tie.

Glad you can score so many great items on the cheap! Thanks for sharing!

I’ve been seeing a lot of Finding Dory products popping up at my local Dollar Tree stores in the last week and the movie doesn’t even come out until 6/17. I’ve seen washcloths, figurines, school supplies, cups, forks, plates, etc. Be on the look out if you have a little Dory fan at your house. 🙂

FYI, I bought the muffin mix last week (banana and lemon poppy seed) and they both turned out yummy! Went back already and bought to just to have on hand in my pantry since they won’t expire until next year.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear how good they are! Thanks for the feedback!
