    I have ordered pajamas from here, but never girls size shorts. Does anyone know if they are true to size? I am having an awful time this summer. My daughter is about a 6X. Size 6 is too small in the waist most of the time, but size 7 is too big. There appears to be no 6x. Would size 7s fit?

      My daughter is only 18 months old, but so far I have found Gymboree runs a little bigger than other brands. HTH.

        I ordered my 13 month old son some 12-18 month shirts during last free shipping sale and they fit my 4 year old daughter! I was shocked at how large they ran but it was my first gymboree purchase so I’ll know for next time

      They run huge. My almost 6 year old niece wears a size 6 everywhere and a 4 at Gymboree.

      I find Gymboree runs small for older children. I think you’d be good ordering size 7slim. My daughter normally wears a size 8, but I order size 10 from Gymboree because of the fit.

      My kid wears a 4t and is starting to fit into 5t now, but she’s a 3t-4t at gymboree. I usually only buy dresses for her there because the pants/shorts are kind of big at the waist (even with adjustable waistbands I have to pull it all the way in).
      I have great luck finding shorts for her at the gap. They can be a little pricey, but they have great sales and the quality of their denim is fantastic.

      My 5 year old has a couple pairs of 24 month shorts from Gymboree she still wears. Granted she’s petite, but she wears 3t-4t in most other brands.
