I don’t usually buy from this store…can anyone tell me how the baby sizing runs? My 5 months old daughter is on the small side and can still wear 0-3 months sometimes depending on the brand.
I personally think this store runs a little small and if she is wearing 0-3 months in other brands, I’d consider getting 3-6 months. Just my experience.
I think they are pretty true to size. I usually shop here or at Carter and buy the same size for all my kids at either store.
This is a wonderful store to buy from. Reasonably priced and decent quality. They’re sizing is right about average, possibly a little large. My son can wear a 5/6 in these shorts still, where other brands he needs a 7/8. Shirts are the same way. He is tall and very skinny though, and I do think this brand fits him very well compared to Carter’s, Osh Kosh which seem more short and chunky.
I wanted to add that in my experience shipping takes a while so if she’s almost out of that size I’d go up.
Very small in my experience. My son was literally shifted up for children’s place clothes – so he’d be wearing 12 months in say Carter’s and 18 months in CP at the same time.

I’ve been ordering from them for years. In my experience, their clothes are true to size and sometimes run a little large depending on the piece. Now, as far as shoes aand boots, they ALWAYS run at least a half size bigger than average… Most of the time one full size bigger. HTH!

Things were selling out even while I was checking out (which is annoying but I get it). Most of the clothes I had ran out of stock, but I got sunglasses, a hat, etc. for my daughter and only spent $5. That works!

Agree! Lots of cute things. Normally I don’t clearance shop for my daughter anymore because she rarely ends up wearing the things I buy so it ends up costing me more money than it saves. But since we were both home today I gave her the computer and she picked out a dozen items she liked for just $35 after tax 🙂

This happened to me also. I’ve never had a problem with my 20% code not working on sales like this. I sent customer service an email concerning the issue. I went ahead and submitted my order despite not having gotten a reply from customer service yet. 3 of my items went out of stock while waiting for a reply and I didn’t want to lose anymore of my items. Hopefully there is still some resolution to correcting the problem.
Exact same thing. I called the customer service after 20 minutes wait. He asked me my total it was close to $5 for %20, so he issued $5 certificate under my account and i used that. It took around 5 minutes to get the certificate though.

I ended up calling them and they sent me 25% off code for my 20% code that no longer worked (after spending the majority of the day trying to load it!). Quite a few of the items in my cart were sold out before I was able to check out but I was still able to get some steals.
I had no problems getting what I wanted in 4 different sizes, never have had issues with items being sold out. Maybe the boys section isn’t as popular.
I had no issues buying for 4 boys, I never have. My wording must have been off, I meant maybe it’s not popular so we have available choices rather than it being very popular and not having much choice.
5T boys clearance is now pretty much sold out in what I want for my son 🙁
Yes ordering for girls is easier than boys, my son always cries that I do not order him as much stuff as his sister. The reason is that the boy items are either already out of stock or go out of stock in cart while I’m shopping. It is a great disappointment. I am thankful for the deals we are able to snag!
My sister has a son and daughter one year apart…she has the exact same problem here in WI when she goes to consignment shops and Goodwill……she ALWAYS has tons of clothes for her daughter, but rarely finds things for her son…she very often leaves these stores feeling bad for him.
I found 3 dresses, 4 shirts, 1 skirt and 2 shorts for $31 with shipping!

Has anyone else had a problem with paying on the childrens place website? It says the code on the back of my card is invalid. I got a new card with a chip. I do not have a problem anywhere else just here. I have tried 3 computers my husbands card does not work also. they are from the same bank. I ended up using paypal. but what a pain. half the things in my cart gotten taken, now out of stock. if you do place an order don’t forget ebates 1.5%
finally the 20% worked.all shorts were sold out in my daughters size but I got 6 tshirt for 9$ they werent the cutest but they will be good for casual days 🙂

Most items for my toddler were sold out. Since he needs a rash guard and swim trunks, I checked out amazon and purchased a set for 6.71. With free prime shipping, it’s about the same as the childrens place but without the hassle of two dozen clicks to see if it’s in stock 🙂 I did score a few dresses for my older daughter the last time you posted – and she loves them!
A lot of these items that were sold out (like the shortie stretchie jammies) have been sold out for at least two weeks (I looked at jammies a few weeks ago and nothing in my oldest’s size then) But – I got my daughter’s birthday shirt for next year, a pair of jammies for baby sister and another tee for $7. 😀
