This is the same model I bought at the 2015 black Friday/cyber Monday sale — for the same price. (It is a pretty good deal on the pro model)
I haven’t used it a ton, but it was worth every penny when I made literally a bucket of buttercream.

I’ve had one of these kitchen aid lift mixers for about 8 years. It is definitely worth it at this price. Although I don’t use it every day, it is fabulous for mashed potatoes, pie crust dough, buttercream icing,etc. It’s a real workhouse and can mix things I could never do with a hand mixer.
I can’t get my order to get past review, even closed out and started again 3 times and still can’t order.
