People please be careful! I met a person who was drunk and was about to drive for Uber. Better to get a taxi for more security.
Uber is so much better than a taxi in my opinion. You can see the reviews of the driver unlike with a taxi driver & the uber driver can leave feedback on you as a passenger too. It creates much more accountability.
I have had wonderful experiences with Uber! I love it and I have always felt extremely comfortable with the drivers. Guess one should always use common sense when getting in any car (uber or taxi).
I was in a licensed taxi cab a few months ago, and after a few minutes it was clear the driver had been drinking. I had to shout at him so he didn’t run over my husband in a crosswalk! Definitely could happen in a taxi. Don’t be afraid to say “no thanks” and get out!
