I just got this package in the mail from Target for my son’s first birthday. It includes some great samples and coupons including a $5 off $5 coupon for any Target purchase! What a great surprise!
I didn’t request it, but I am guessing that it came because of my baby registry with them last spring? The package says “Can you believe you’re almost at year one of parent status? It’s a big deal, and hey, you’re doing great! Here’s a little something to keep that goodness going.” My son is turning one in 8 days so that’s why I’m thinking it had to do with my registry. Love getting free goodies and coupons in the mail!
I have tried 6x at 3 different locations and each time they have said they were out of welcoming bag. My dd is almost 1 and I have pretty much given up on getting it. I even called CS and they said there snoring they can do except to keep trying… Lame! I’m not counting on getting this in the mail either.
Same here! They told me to just keep coming back to check if they had any welcome bags in stock… sure, lemme just drive 30 minutes there and back, just to check.
Totally gave up on that one!
And when baby turned one in feb, we got nothing.
Its either hit or miss with target, i guess…

You should ask them for their delivery truck schedule. My Target told me that their trucks usually come on Tuesdays and Thursdays nights, so it is likely that you can get your bags on Wed or Fri’s mornings.
It took me going to many different stores to finally get one and then all the coupons in it were expired. Not worth it in my opinion to register there. I also didn’t get anything when my daughter turned one
I got it yesterday…it has a $5 off $5 purchase, $5 off $20 purchase, and another coupon (not sure the amount) it was a great surprise!

My daughter turned one in May and I got one a couple days ago.
I had a littl trouble last summer when I tried to claim my baby registry welcome gift. The lady at customer service suggested that I call to see if they had them back in stock so I don’t waste my time coming back to ask. I called them a week later and they said that they had them back in but they go fast. I told her that I was on my way to get one since I lived close and needed to go shopping amyway, she ask for my name and offered to hold one for me until the end of the day. I got there and sure enough I got one. If you get turned down try doing what I did and call them before you go back. My daughter is turning 1 in a few weeks so I’m curious to see if we will get one of these birthday mailings.
I got the welcome bag and about a month after creating the registry I got a target booklet in the mail with a coupon to take in and redeem for a $20 gift card!!

I have tried twice to register and receive the gift bag. The first time was with my daughter, who is now 8 months, and we are now expecting again. Both experiences were not enjoyable and registering was a waste of time. The target I registered at the second time acted like they never heard of giving welcome bags for a baby registry.
My son turned one in May. We had a target registry and got the one year birthday package in the mail today (exactly as pictured). What an awesome surprise! I love Target!
