  I don’t subscribe to direct tv, but when I logged into my Dish anywhere account on my laptop, hbo was unlocked when it otherwise normally is locked. So it might be the same for direct tv. Hope this helps!

   Any weekend when one of their original shows premieres it’s usually a free weekend. Like he first episode of the season of an original show like Game of Thrones. This weekend is Vice Principals.
