The material of these new cat and jack polos is SOOO soft! My daughter loved it! The shirt is long but hopefully that will help it last all year!

I’ve tried Target, Old Navy, Children’s Place, Gymboree and George (Walmart) polos. The Target ones I bought last year were soft, fitted for girls and had cute now details and initally I loved them. But they didn’t wear well at all. They were pilly almost instantly, especially along the side where I think her backpack straps may have rubbed. I’ll admit I’m a throw it in the washer on cold and dry it on medium or low type, especially with my daughter’s clothes. I don’t turn everything inside out, air dry ans the other things that will preserve clothes. I’ve been reading that polos come in several differnt materials and it seems the “rough” ones (rather than the softer jersey material) hold up better over time. Last year they weren’t calling them Cat&Jack so may e these are better but I’m still hesitant to try again…
I too purchased the cherokee brand polos from target last year, which was the pique material that wasn’t as soft! Ours held up ok, but did have some shrinkage and some fading. I too wash like you but will be a bit more careful this year! Our uniform purchases from the children’s place were awful.. Shrinking to the point they weren’t long enough to be acceptable at school! Hoping target comes through for me this year!
My price point for uniform polos is under $5 so this is great! I will definitely be making a trip to target.

I haven’t tried these just yet but read online while ordering (when they ran a special last time) that these have a year warrantee on them. Hoping that holding on to my receipt will help if they wear over the school year!
