Yes it is a great deal on the 7″ tablets. If the 10″ are on sale they would be a good deal too. Don’t see those on sale much. I paid full price…we love them.
Does anyone have the echo? And do they like it ?
SO we have the Echo and Love it- It is by no means a necessity to any house. We love how easy it is to play music- I simply say ” Alexa Play… and as long as it’s in amazon music’s catalog, it will play- you don’t have to have the music stored anywhere- it will give you basic info about news, sports, weather- Though it is not Google- You cannot ask her to search for something. You can add a grocery list by just speaking to her and if you really want to get crazy with her, there are a ton of product out there that will connect to it- such as wifi lights, thermostats
I love the Echo. You have to link it to your phone. I love when I’m cooking dinner with stuff on my hands I can say, “Alexa add salt to my shopping list”. The list is on the app on my phone. In order for it to play prime music you have to pay for Amazon prime. There are lots of widgets you can add. I have one that can quiz me on basic math, one that gives inspirational scriptures, movie trivia…totally not a necessity but I love it!
Ok… So DH has been talking about getting a Fire Stick because someone told him about it. Me I’m clueless as to what I would need to get with it. What’s so special about these? Does it replace satellite tv?

It replaces TV. You just need to already have internet. You just pay for the fire stick and can watch new movies, tv shows etc, it streams from the internet so it may be slow or buffer a lot but I think it’s worth it.
Great technology but I w8uld spend the extra money for the fire tv. $69.99. Much faster and buffers way less. Lots of content on there via amazon prime. We loaded kodi ( whick os free and easy to do with youtube videos) on all of ours which let’s us access virtually any tv show on movie out there. We’ll worth it we have one on each tv
Have you found anything to replace the Genesis addon or to watch live tv/sports? We don’t have cable & this is the only thing we miss.

I bought 3 fire sticks in the last 7 days. Do they offer price adjustments?
I’ve done price adjustments many times at Best Buy, You have 14 days, I believe. If this is a one-day-only deal, you’d need to get right in there, though, because you can only get the adjustment while the lower price is still current. I don’t think you could go in there after the sale ended & point out the price difference once existed and still get a credit.
You can also buy them & return the new ones with the old receipt. I did this on Black Friday when they were also $24.99. I asked for a price adjustment, but they refused & said I had to buy & return. I literally bought them then returned them.
