Great deal! Got mine on prime day and use it all the time. The cheesecakes made in this pot are incredible. Not to mention ribs, Mac and cheese, etc.

I absolutely love my pressure cooking. We have one for our home and one for our camper. It amazes me how you can cook beef stew or pot roast in thirty minutes. I would highly recommend this for anyone and especially busy working moms or dads. My husband bought mine for Mother’s Day for me and I swear he uses it more than me. The amount of time you save cooking is worth the investment.

YUM! Thanks for the great feedback! Glad to hear how many awesome recipes you have been able to make with this!

I love the instant pot!! Definitely worth the money.

Does anyone know if Jills Steals and Deals is still going on? Haven’t seen on in a while.

    • MrsFelix1004

Jill’s steals and deals is coming up on the today show in a few minutes. 🙂

        Thank you!!

This is not the same one they did on Prime Day. There is no yogurt function on this one. Just an FYI

    • Rochelle

Right. This was first thing I noticed when I got my Amazon Deal of the Day email this morning. This sale is on the older model LUX-60 and not the DUO-60 that has the yogurt maker and is more streamlined. I’m holding out to get the Duo…once I’ve saved enough Amazon codes.

      Thank you!!

Is there a website y’all find recipes on for this? Or just experiment?

On Facebook, join the instant pot community page. 97,000+ members. Tons of recipes, help, etc.

I’ve found some great ones on Pinterest.

When you guys say cooked in 20 or 30 minutes, do you mean from the very beginning to the very end? One time my friend was cooking something, he said it’s almost done but we have to wait 45 minutes for it to de-pressurerise. How instant is that?

    • maria

You have to add 10-30 minutes at either end. I made a cheesecake in it that said 40 minutes, but it took about 10 minutes to come to pressure and then 23 minutes afterwards with natural release. But sooooo worth it!!

    • Susie

Some recipes call for a ” natural release” which you have to wait but some recipes call for a “quick release” which is immediate so it depends on what you’re cooking.

Yay – I’ve been waiting for another deal on this – can’t wait to start using it!

I love my instant pot. I use it everyday for soups and rice. I love the fact that the cooking pot is stainless steel.

      Awesome! Thanks for sharing!

I am a basic cook wanting to branch out. Is it better to wait for a sale on the Instant Pot Duo (I wasn’t ready on Prime Day) or is this one adequate? I definitely won’t be using the yogurt function on the Duo, but I don’t know if having the low pressure option is important. Thanks for anyone with advice.

    • Naomi

I have a LUX and have never run into any cooking issues that make me want a DUO. the only thing I wish I had that the DUO has is the ability to prop the lid up but that isn’t really a deal breaker in my opinion.

      • Elizabeth

        Thanks so much!

I wanted salmon yesterday but it was still frozen and didn’t have time to do the quick cold water thaw-method before cooking,so had to eat something else. my question is if I had the instant pot, could it have cooked my frozen salmon within 20mins and how long would the de-pressurizing take? Thanks for any input.

I love mine. I use it for almost every meal. Great kitchen gadget to have.
