HOW do you calculate discounts? $1 with 110% price match is $0.90 not 0.70
Hi there! It can be confusing to calculate! Here is an example: The Sharpie deal – The price match on the Sharpie markers is $2.30 – You take the reg. price of $10 – $3 = $7 for the difference then you times that by the 10% which is $0.70 then you minus that from the price match price of $3 which is $2.30. Hope this helps!

Yes, wondering if staples will honor an online ad… We only live 30 min away, but we do not get paper ads for office max, just staples. I would think it shouldn’t matter…. But wondering if anyone has tried this yet before I make the trip 😊
It’s not just you I live a mile and a half away from Office Depot but their ad does not come in my Sunday paper. I was wondering the same thing about them honoring the ad on my phone
Hey. Two staples around los angeles, california does honor an online ad. However they do not honor 110% price match. Just 100%, despite the 110% ad everywhere. So i would just call just to be sure
Do you think I could get the pack of Sharpies in all black? I use them for couponing, but I swear my children eat them….and even though I have teens- I do NOT trust them with Sharpies!
Hey, I was in Office Depot today and they have the 12 pack box of Black sharpie markers on sale for $3 as well! The ad does not specify all black or show it in the ad. The ad says, select varieties, and shows the multi color packs. If attempting price match it would be at the clerks desecration.

My staples tried to claim that the 110% price match was for only ink or certain items that were not in stock but could be ordered. So frustrating when management doesn’t even know the policy!!!!

Very happy. Stopped into my local Staples for something else and grabbed 3 packs each of the expo & sharpie markers. They let me price match on my phone. They didn’t do the 110% but I was so happy with the $1 and $3 prices that I didn’t even suggest the 110%. My nearest Office Max/Depot is at least a 30 minute drive.
My Office Depot is always out of the sale items. I like price matching at Staples to avoid the hassle – even just getting things for the advertised price.
