  1. Jamie

We did this last week and it was so stellar! We even got leftovers the next day (after both of us and both kids ate too!!!) Thanks for posting.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How cool! You’re so welcome Jamie!

    • Amy

I just tipped the lady for my to go order bc it’s pouring down raining and I didn’t want to I strap my baby to go in. She still has to do her job despite if it’s raining or not so in that case I have no issue tipping but otherwise no.

  2. Jennifer

don’t you have to eat at the restaurant to do buy one take one home?

    • Tracey

lol, too funny that we post the same thing at the same sec’

      • Whit

Nope! If you go online it gives you the option to order it from home. One meal will just come
Cold and you heat it up the next day.

  3. Tracey

Quick Question . . .So, on the BOGO offer, you don’t have to eat one there then; you can just get both of them to go?

    • Jamie

We got both to go!. Ordered online, and even paid online!! no issues

  4. Nikki Smith

You don’t have to eat them there πŸ™‚ We did this deal last week, ordered and paid online and scheduled a 5:30 p.m. pick up at the TOGO station and it was easy peasy πŸ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear it Nikki! Thanks for the feedback!

  5. April

No, you can get them both to go. Its listed online as a special too. What they do it prepare one ready to eat (warm) and then prepare the other for you to have later (ready to go but still chilled). Hope this helps

  6. Tracey

    Awesome! Thanks!

  7. Mindy

I ordered 4 of them last week – two were hot two were cold – also the first two will come with salad/soup the other two will not but the salad is big enough to share.

  8. Lauri

We did this takeout out last week! Such a Great deal!

  9. newbeecouponer

BOA has load2card 10% back OG, targeted customers !

  10. newbeecouponer

Also amex has $10 back on $50 inrestaurant purchase (not online), but i guess if we order online and pay in store it should trigger the offer, not sure. If it does , then buy 3 get 3 for free, plus 20 %off, plus $10 back with amex …

    • Holly

You could also buy a giftcard in store to get the amex offer and use the giftcard to pay for the online togo.

      • newbeecouponer

Voww awesome idea! !!! Will definitely do that. Thanks

  11. Luna

It was awesome last week! Will do it again. Thanks

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Perfect! You’re so welcome!

  12. Miabellaraleigh

So, I did this deal last time and I have a question for ya’ll… Do you tip on pick up to go orders? I flipped out when hubs said he tipped five bucks lol.

    • Kristin

Yes it is correct to tip on to go orders, and pre coupon price as well. Your husband has proper tipping etiquette, don’t flip out over 5 bucks πŸ™‚

    • Benita

It’s a personal choice and it depends on what you can and cannot do. I hope other readers don’t get too mean regarding this topic, I have seen this in the past

      • Chelwood

Yep, agreed with Benita on both points. Tipping discussions always get personal and nasty for some reason.

    • Sue

I don’t tip on to go orders. They aren’t “waiting” on me. when I eat in I tip nice. The waiter refills drinks asks how we are doing, cleans the table when I’m done. I do most of it myself, I put all the trash together, same with silverware, They probably think I’m nuts. I don’t think strangers should have to clean up after me. I even ask for a broom if my kid made a mess on the floor. But overall they do a lot of work. I don’t see how packing a to go bag is worth a tip. just my 2 cents. no one get mad please.

      • Dawn

Totally agree with you here! No tip for to go. And I always clean up our table messes too when we eat inside the restaurant 😊

        • Lori

I totally agree, if I go in to get my to go order, no tip because they didn’t do anything for me.

      • Katie

I agree with you Sue, I don’t tip on to go orders. I even waitressed for a good number of years and never expected it on a to go order. I don’t tip McDonald’s when I get it to go, nor do I top Panera when I get it to go; same thought process for a to go order pretty much anywhere for me. It is great if people want to do that, but my thought is their business is food, they need to package or present it in some way for others to buy it. A tip is something extra because something extra was done (i.e. attentive and good service). And, I am with you, no one get made please…

    • Sarah

I did this last week and paid online giving no tip but when I got there and the girl bright it out in a basket, packing each item into the bag in front of me, explaining each piece so nothing was missed and then explained how to heat up the to go orders, I wrote in a $4 on my cc slip. I didn’t have to drive home and find something missing and for that I was grateful, with tip I spent $26 and had more than enough for my family of 5 and leftovers. I’m cheap but I’ve tipped for less attentive staff so I didn’t mind.

    • Nesta

It’s whatever you want to do. Originally before I met my husband (who worked as a server for 15 years), I used to just do $2-5 bucks for to go orders but then he explained they still have to package the food, silverware, any sauces or extra stuff, and now I tip 20% of whatever the order is or $5, whichever is higher. Hope that helps.

      • Holly

If I do take out I don’t. It’s seems to me the guy at Taco Bell does the same thing and I don’t tip him

        • LISA HARRIS

Good point. I wonder if the same people who tip on the togo orders, tip the fast food chain employees at the drive thru window as well.

          • Nesta

The difference is (at least where I am from) the “fast food” employees make minimum wage, which is a little over $7 here, but the servers get $2.18 so they count on tips to make a living. Hope that helps clear up any confusion. I’m not saying everyone needs to tip on to go orders just offering my perspective.

    • HC

I tip 10% on to go orders if it’s something simple to put together, like this. It’s just pasta and salad. If I for some reason order something extravagant, I tip more.

    • april

At olive garden the server makes the salad for the togo orders and has to get the soups and bread. Plus all the extra stuff u need. They are happy with 10 percent in togo but i always tip 20 unless i know the server did nothing. ( if i order a sandwich and i know the cook just put that in the box)

  13. Alsx

I m trying to do the bogo and just can’t figure it out! Do you put two of the same entrees in your basket or is it automatic!??

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi there! When adding the first entree you will see the dinner options beneath your first selection, one of them is “choose your second dish” so they do not have to be the same. Hope this helps!

    • Junebug

It’s under “specials” for the buy one take one

  14. Ashley

I always tip to go. 2 bucks. Especially if they put everything together perfectly.- silver wear, plates, exact order, extras like mints etc. many times it is waiters or bartenders putting it together and as we know they make $2 a hour

    • dealgirl

I agree with tipping but I wanted to mention that waiters don’t make $2 an hour everywhere. The entire west coast pays minimum wage + tips for servers. So in CA they make $10 an hour plus their tips, WA state they make $9.47 + tips, and so on.

      • katy

Not minimum wage for waiters/waitress in AZ

        • april

Wow in fl its 5.03 i wish ot was 10 dollars

  15. Gisette

Wow a 5.00 tip… I’d do 2.00 on that order since its only 10 bucks .. Just my logic lol

  16. Dorene

Offer good thru August 28th. Per their website

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the reminder!

  17. Kalynn

How did you guys heat up the cold TOGO meals? In the microwave? Were they good?

    • Sarah

Yeah microwave. My husband gets home late so he got that one and he thought it was delicious. It was never heated to begin with so it didn’t taste reheated if that makes sense. He wished there was more when he was done, it was so good.

  18. Jill W.

Yes, just a few minutes in the microwave- directions come on the top for each meal- some were 3-4 min and others 5-6 I think but it will tell you- still tasted just like the other meals and my family of 6 (3 teen aged boys!) had more than enough. We shared the salads, not everyone wanted some and they give you 2 bread sticks per original entree’ so 1 for each person. The amount of food was A LOT- I swear it was even more than when we eat there. We just did it on Sunday and I’m thinking about doing it again lol

    • Jill W.

I should clarify- I purchased 3 meals and got the 3 free- we didn’t all eat off of 2 meals LOL

  19. Maria

Can you order online to get the deal then eat at the restaurant? Silly question I know, but I will be going to Olive Garden with a group of girls Saturday night and I’d love to save an extra 20% πŸ™‚

    • Gina

I JUST have bday party and ORDER BOTO that is correct names on that deal we order three Deals. Eat hot meals inside with soup and salad all you can eat and took three cold meals HOME. Also I got cuopons from e-club for Free appetizer or dessert up to $10 waiters took that too. First time we PAID under $50 for THAT kind party and YES we tip a waiter $10

    • Gina

What I meant you don’t have to order it online they HAVE a special menu for that: you might lose 20% thought

  20. jeannie

We did this offer as dine in this past week and got 2 of the buy one take one offers plus we used a coupon for $1 kids meal. We had salad and bread sticks there plus they packed 2 bread sticks per to go meal and we packed the rest of the salad to go. Lots of food for the money!

  21. Dany

Oh yay! This was great last week. I got Ziti and Ravioli, salad and breadsticks. I walked in right at the time I scheduled and it was on the counter in a big brown bag. They included 4 breadsticks and 5 chocolate mints. It was a nice touch. Friday date night, here I come. Thanks Collin.

  22. Sara

This is hilarious… You can’t wait to cheat.O! I was just thinking that I am going to get so fat getting all these great restaurant deals!

    • Ariel

Your rude comments are not necessary.

  23. jan

Awesome never ordered food online before but got dinner ordered for Friday with 630 pick up!!!!! And the best part we were recently gifted a 25.00 og gift card!!! Thank u Collin and team!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yay! What a great deal Jan! You’re welcome!

  24. Lori

I used this deal twice this week! I also passed along to my sister and she used it also! You can beat the priced for good quality food.
This was also my 1st time ever using the ToGo service. Everyone has been so nice and everything is done on time.
Thanks so much Colin for posting this great deal.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So happy to hear how well it has worked for you Lori! You are SO welcome!

  25. St

Off topic but I am looking for a Best Buy 10% off coupon. If you have one and you would like to trade, please email me sanatauseef at gmail dot com

  26. Sarah

I picked this up for dinner tonight. Was very impressed that it was ready when I walked in. Even more impressed that she showed me everything she was putting in the bag so I didn’t have to worry or check the bag before leaving.

  27. Ericat0605

Thanks!! Going to visit my mother tomorrow & just ordered us lunch 😬

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Aww, how sweet! You’re very welcome! Hoping you both enjoy your lunch!

  28. Sandra

Perfect! I did NOT feel like cooking dinner tonight. Thanks Collin!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      YW! πŸ˜‰

  29. Nikki Touch

thank you so much! Doing this right now πŸ˜€

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  30. jes

I order 2 meals so I got 4 tonight for my family of 4. We ordered too manu extra breadsticks because my preteen and teen kids tear them up. $30 for alot of hearty eaters and i didn’t cook! Thanks!

  31. Rachel

That’s kind of rude and not necessarily.

    • Adrian

I’m sorry but I was not rude at all. Rude would have been saying you’re lazy and cook your own pasta :]

  32. Amanda H.

We did this deal after you had posted it last week! Figured it would a nice meal for my husband and I so we got our fill and we ended up with leftovers for the next night! Plus used some old gift cards making it an even sweeter deal! Thanks Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome to hear that Amanda! You’re so welcome!

  33. Dany

For $10 I am feeding 2 people without using electricity, gas stove, groceries and time. And it is not just pasta. This meal has other ingredients and components. So yes we have no self control or free time, actually. Win win!

    • Adrian

The exact same dish would not cost $ 5 and change to make at home. It would be far less including the cost of electricity, gas, and groceries. Also, if you’re going to include all that you would have to include driving time and gas to pick up your pricey meal. My point is that it would be cheaper to make at home.

  34. laura

That may be technically true, but not everyone has time to cook at home every night. I’m going to use this tomorrow night b/c I won’t be home at dinner time. McDonald’s would cost me more than $5 a meal and this is better food, so I think it’s a good deal.

    • Adrian

Well you’re right about 1 thing- it is way cheaper than Mickey D’s. I still think pasta should be made at home though. I make my own pasta dishes at home FROM SCRATCH. It doesn’t take very long and they taste so good! Best of all- they’re not loaded with salt :]

  35. april

By the time u buy sauces, pasta and cheeses ur paying more than 5 dollars if u made at home

    • Adrian

Negative. I would only have to buy the cheese because I make my own pasta and sauce from SCRATCH. The cheese itself would cost over $5 but it would be more than just a dish portion of cheese meaning in the end it comes out to less than $5 a plate. Also, you’re on a coupining site, you should be getting your pasta and sauces for super cheap. It is do-able.

      • jan

We all know we could make a pasta dish from scratch for less and maybe it would be better but what business of yours if some of us want to indulge in takeout? You sound as though you have some stake in trying to sway people away from this deal?

        • Adrian

My point is as I said above- this really is not a good deal :]

      • Gina

You can go make something from scratch and we are going to order to pick up: win win

        • Nels

          πŸ˜‚

        • Adrian

Feel free to over-spend on a quick and easy dish to make at home :]

          • Gina

No way i don’t want food poisoning or something that usually part of Deal when Angry people like you making something from scratch; )

      • Ariel

Adrian, get off your high horse, would you? If we want to pick up cooked pasta from a restaurant, at a lower price than they normally sell, so be it. Why bash us for not making it at home?? Is it cuz you want to make it known you make from SCRATCH sauce, you think your better than us pre-made pasta buyers?? I’m so proud of you for making your own sauce πŸ‘ there you go. Now poof! Be gone. This post is to discuss this fabulous Olive Garden deal. Not bash others for ordering pasta.

        • Adrian

I think you are the one on the high horse. I have not bashed anyone. All I have done is point out that this is not a good deal.

          • Ariel

And rudely commented above “no self control” to someone saying they were getting all the restaurant deals. You have no filter and it’s unfortunate for you.

          • Ariel

I am not the only one that thinks your comments are rude.

  36. Linda

I am so thrilled about this deal and appreciate you sharing it. Dinner for family of 5 – $16.94 plus tip. The only downfall, I’ll be going in to pick it up in my sweaty workout clothes after the gym.

  37. Amy OShields

Great deal however at our location the 2nd free dish is frozen and has to be cooked at home. Not a problem but it is frozen .

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the feedback Amy!

  38. Jackie

Does not work on to go orders!!!!!!! Your notice is incorrect & I was very disappointed!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Jackie! Were you able to create your order online as listed above and then pick up at the store? This deal has worked for me and many other on the To Go orders.

  39. Jackie

After reading your responses in regards to the to go orders/online orders, I asked and they said yes it applies so I went back in and got my free entree. Thanks everyone!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh AWESOME! πŸ˜€ Super glad to hear you could score the deal πŸ˜‰

  40. Barbara

Wow it’s 16.99 each at my Olive Garden for the cheapest basic one

  41. Nels

Hey you guys, just wanted to let you know, when I did the deal yesterday eating in, they had a little tablet looking thing on each table which allows you to pay, play games etc. This was my first visit to OG in the last 5 years and had no idea that they charge you to play on that tablet. Anyways, they charged me $2 for playing some game for couple of minutes. Just wanted to give you all heads up. Other than that great deal. Collin, thanks for your work! You are awesome!

  42. Dee

Whoop whoop! Just did the deal. Great meal for family of 4 and awesome price!! Please note the 2 extra meals came cold with instructions to heat at home. I wasn’t expecting that.

  43. Shannon

Sweet! After daughter’s first week of school, I do not feel like cooking! Got fettucine alfredo with free five cheese ziti, salad and breadsticks for hubby and I, and ordered a spaghetti with meat sauce for daughter, pasta fagioli, and free cheese ravioli for lunch tomorrow and breadsticks for $20.78. Having husband pick up on way home from work. Not too shabby! Thanks! πŸ™‚

  44. Anna

you also are getting salad or soup and breadsticks. I usually only eat half due to the portion size so it’s at least 4 meals (the 2 entrees). I don’t thing OG is worth their regular prices but this deal is good. Yes pasta is cheap eating out is always somewhat about convienance. By ordering to go I’m able to have drinks at home (which i don’t like to pay for at restaurants so I get water). Also my husband and I can each get what we want. It’s worth it to me
