my son has really made some cool contraptions with this. he is mechanically minded and makes really creative things with Legos in general. he got it when he was 10 or 11.
ages 9-13 who are good at following step-by step instructions would be appropriate.

anyone have any experience with the wordery? It looks like they are based off of UK. How is shipping time? thanks. This seems like a great educational and engaging book for children
This was my first time ordering, but the website did say delivered within 8 working days. Also I paid with PayPal and not my debit card. PayPal is great about protecting the buyer, so if there was an issue, I think I could get my money back. I don’t think there will be though. I thought it was worth the $5 + in savings to try a new site.
I guess they are more like Amazon than they care to admit–their price is now $16.02. 😉
Reviews mentioned the set is only enough to do project 1. You need to buy more legos for project 2,3,4,5,6 etc. Some are basic legos you probably have from your other legos but some are special.
I got this last Summer for my 10 year old when he ended up with a broken leg and in the hospital. He absolutely loved it and got hours and hours of play out of it. In fact, he still uses it. There are tons of activities and blocks are enough to do them. He asked for another set so he can expand and build his own creations on a larger scale. Missed this deal, but will be on the lookout for Christmas.
