Hi Collin! A while back, I saw you posting the Hip2Save.com templates to share with others, so I printed a page, and along with some coupons, I put them throughout a few stores to get the word out about your site and all the amazing Hip2Save crew. Thanks for all you do!

  2. patricia

Thank you sooooooo much for posting my picture and the gift card. I was feeling down and this just lifted me up.
Thanks for all you and hip2save crew do.
    You are all amazing 🙂

    • Gretchen

Your are amazing Patricia! It would make my day to find a little extra savings that someone took time to leave right by the product. I am sure you made a lot of people’s day, too!

    • Just Me

I LOVE when someone leaves a coupon near a product so you are awesome!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are SO welcome, Patricia! And thank YOU for being such a wonderful coupon fairy… spreading the savings to all. Love it! 😍

  3. Judy

I always try to leave coupons around the store but since I shop so early, the enployees look at me like I’m trying to steal something, so then I get anxious and don’t leave them behind at all :/

    • saving4vacation

I experience the same, target employee are so rude

      • Kelly

I used to be a target employee, so does that make me rude? Don’t generalize people. If you’ve had a bad experience with a target employee, it was just with that specific person. That doesn’t give you the right to say all target employees are rude. An individual is rude, it’s not the company’s fault that a rude person was hired. You make target look bad by saying that. I’ve come across rude people at every type of shop I’ve been to but it’s not a reflection of the company itself.

How Awesome! I wish I had these today. Today a lady saw me going thru my binder and asked me how I got so many. I told her about Hip2save then jotted it down in my chicken scratch on an expired coupon. I doubt she’ll ever figure it out 🙁

  5. Holli

That was so sweet. I tell people daily too because I just love your site. You have saved me so much money with my little one that just turned 1. 😊😊😊😊😊

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for spreading the word about the site. We sure appreciate it!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awww… thank you! I sure appreciate the comment and will pass along to the team.

  7. Michele

I love finding coupons others have left! I try to leave them around when I can.

Gorilla marketing at its finest! What a great way to help others in saving. I always say to someone who tells me they “don’t have time ” to clip/search for coupons/offers/sales…”Wow what, you don’t like to save money!!?? If they answer “no”,I just shake my head and let them know how rediculous they just sounded. Shout out to Hip2Save for having the most up to date and thorough run down of current offers!!!

    • Jen

I have two jobs, a husband, toddler, family…life. I still make time to save – with TONS of help from Hip2Save of course! There will always be an excuse to NOT do something.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the comment and the positive feedback regarding the site! 😊

Very nice gesture. I wish people would stop leaving their crumpled expired coupons on the shelves. There are usually trash cans in the stores. Another reason for employees to hate couponers.

    • Alison

Right?! A few times I’ve gotten excited like, “wow a coupon right next to the thing I was shopping for” only to find that someone just left all their expired coupons on the shelf. Like how lazy and gross to make the store employees pick up your trash.

      • Jessica

Unless they actually left them before they had expired and no one noticed or picked them up until after. It’s not that big of a deal however i would suggest to everyone to not leave their printed coupons for people to take, there are some out there that would take them home and copy them and guess who would be at fault?

    • Heather C

I take them & throw them in my pocket. When I get home, I recycle them. But, more often than not, I find others being “coupon fairies” just like me!

      • Judy

I call them coupon Fairies too! My 4 year old gets so excited when I pick up a coupon that someone left on the shelf …. “(Gasp) Mom, was the coupon Fairy here last night? That’s awesome! Did she leave a coupon for lollipops?”

        • Heather C

So adorable!! Maybe you should leave her one near a coupon you need (and planted.). I can just imagine the joy!

  10. lz

The moms and dads at our daycare leave a pile coupons at the sign in sheet. Just the other day I snagged a $16 off Similac check and it made my day. I should leave some hip2save flyers!

  11. Rachel

    Love this!

  12. JA

For some reason I keep getting ob tampon coupons in the mail for a free product. I always leave those on the shelf!

  13. Lindak

I need to leave my spare coupons around too. Stopped at Target to pick up 2 things so I took in only the few coupons I needed. The woman ahead of me spent over $200 with no coupons or cartwheel. I know I have coupons for much of what she bought.

    • Deb

I often look at the cart of the person ahead of me in line. If I can do it fast enough, I offer them coupons for items they have. Most really appreciate it.

  14. Emilia

Such a great act thanks for sharing. Dear couponners I think we should do something about the inexplicable rudeness of cashiers at cvs Walgreens target and Walmart !! Especially at cvs!!!and we should also do something about overriding at cvs!!!all the CVSs around they stopped override cvs coupons that don’t come off when used together!!if I have 7 cvs coupons I should do 7 transactions!!!So I pay more oop, i spend more time and cashiers become furious and hateful!!!i did two transactions today and the supervisor and cashiers were looking to me like I’m a criminal!they didn’t even say thanks or have a good night like they do with the other customers!! I should come back tomorrow to do the rest of the deals !!!oh my God I’m thinking seriously to quit!! Please help each other to get through this problems

    • AmyH

I feel the same way. I went through the same thing at target recently. I called the corporate and they told me that they have the right to refuse any coupons. Even target coupons. 🙁

      • Emilia

Sorry to hear that, I’m feeling your pain. We go through a lot and our only crime is to try save our hardly earned money for our families and sometimes others!!

    • cheapcheapgoesmommy

I had a horrible experience at a Dollar General two weeks ago, but my cashier did all she could, the register was the problem. She was so nice, that I called corporate, bragged on the cashier, and booed the register system. I told him her just trying to help made me want to go back, even though the register was not cooperating. He also told me if you print your 5 off 25’s from coupons.com sometimes they do not update the barcodes and it will not work properly at checkout. Always print them their website or use a register coupon.

  15. Lauren

I recently learned about an organization called Support Our Troops… they will take your expired coupons (from the paper, not printed from the Internet) and send them to military families stationed overseas to use on base.

    • cheapcheapgoesmommy

Our local 4-H club collects expired coupons for military families and it helps my daughter 4-H club, You can call your county extension office to see if your local clubs collect, it has saved me so much postage!

I once found a coupon for a free salad that was left right by the bagged salad. What a nice surprise.
