Anyone know the cheapest place to buy essential oils?

    • isha

I have bought it from puritan’s pride. They are pure and much chiper than other brands. They frequently run prmotions like b1g2 (yes that is b1g2). And dollar off top of that. And customer service is amazing. If any issue with shipping they will send the iteam without returing.

    • amy

For try essential oils Plant Therapy is the cheapest. If your looking for some fragrance oil Wal-Mart.

    • Christine Williams

I like the NOW brand. Vitacost has good prices and they are always running a promo deal. I am very interested in trying Plant Therapy though. Their prices seem fairly reasonable and they have a lot of interesting blends

      • countrysomethin

        Thanks everyone!

    • angiemosesblog

Plant Therapy and Eden’s Botanical are about the most reputable”cheap oils” you can purchase. Beyond that, many are in the category of you get what you pay for, adulterated and diluted.
Best wishes on your oil journey

  2. May

Purchased the kid safe roll ons during the last deal. It didn’t made any difference on my kids though…I’m not impressed….

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh darn πŸ™ Thanks for the honest feedback May!

    • Plant Therapy

Hi May. We would love to give you some ideas on how to use the oils to see the best results. Please email our Certified Aromatherapists at aromatherapist@planttherapy.com. Thanks

      • Rachel

I bought the citronella from plant therapy and put it in a spray bottle with witch hazel and lavender. My son and I were never bit this whole summer wearing it and it smelled delightful!
My neighbor liked it so much I had to make one for her and her daughter.

        • Sheri

You host sold me on citronella!! We got bit a lot this summer, so I am gonna order it soon. I already have lavender, and now for the witch hazel…. Thanks ; )

    • lise

That’s what happened with me too. I thought it was worth a shot right?

      • Plant Therapy

Hi lise, I would love to help you find success with your new essential oils. Unfortunately essential oils can’t cure everything, but I would love to give you some suggested uses ideas to see if there is something we can find that does help with some of the concerns you were wanting to address while using essential oils. Sometimes it’s an easy fix on how you are using them, sometimes another oil might be better, but whatever the reason, please email me at retha@planttherapy.com and I can give you some direction. And if you are not happy, we are happy to offer a full refund (free return shipping) so you are not out anything.

Let me know if this helps and if you have any other questions. Thanks!

    • Rebecca

      Same!

  3. Kelly

Plant Therapy has excellent oils. I like them much better than other cheaper brands like Now, Aura Cacia (sp?), and Eden’s Garden. I think they are at least as good as Young Living at a much better price.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the great review Kelly!

  4. Ann

My whole family of 6 came down with stomach flu 1 week and the flu the next week. I chose to go strictly oils for myself and baby whole the rest took otc meds. Germ Destroyer and Immune Boom diffused. We are the only ones that didn’t get fevers sniffles or any other effects. So glad I found these deals when we did. I am slowly building my pt oils but very happy with the success so far!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How cool! Awesome to hear how well they worked for you and your baby! Thanks for sharing your experience Ann!

    • Casey

Did you get the roll on or just the oil and dilute it yourself?

    • Plant Therapy

So glad they helped Ann! I swear by Germ Destroyer and Immune Boom also! I don’t go a winter season without them.

  5. Tara

Plant Therapy has quality oils at very reasonable prices. Be careful of the oils at Walmart, etc – the quality is lacking.

  6. Sandra P

Plant Therapy is great! I tried “calm the child” in a difusser and wow did it work. It calmed the 5 year old, the 1 yr old dog, the hubby and myself. Where was this when I had a newborn?! I plan to grow a collection from this experience. The free shipping is wonderful and makes it easier to buy 1 or 2 as you can to try out.

    • Plant Therapy

Thanks Sandra. Glad our Calming The Child was able to help calm your little ones down (and you and your husband!). Thanks for the great feedback!

  7. Lauren

Not sure about the experiences of others, but when I tried to email them questions, I never got a response. So just be aware that they are not as responsive as they appear here.

    • Plant Therapy

Hi Lauren, Are you talking about Plant Therapy? Please email me at retha@planttherapy.com and I would be more than happy to figure out why you did not receive an email response. Our customer service is quite quick and you should have received an email within 24 hours of sending it or at the latest 48 hours. Thanks!

    • CC

I agree. I emailed them about my order, and I never received a response either.

      • Plant Therapy

Hi CC. I would love to address this concern and figure out why you did not receive an email in response. Please email me directly at retha@planttherapy.com and I would be happy to check on this for you. If you emailed through our website, we will want to make sure that there isn’t something going on where we aren’t receiving all of the emails. If you just emailed us directly, I will make sure we received your email and figure out why you did not receive a quick response.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

    • trace

Wow, I had the complete opposite effect. They were super quick to fix my bill when I needed help with applying a coupon. I was shocked in how quick and nice they were…it’s just something you don’t get as often as you’d like with a lot of companies.
Please keep the Plant therapy deals coming!! I saw the new fall scents and was hoping for a hiptosave deal on those!
Also, i got the kids safe Roll on line and my son loves them and we do too!

  8. Sarah

I’ve had nothing but excellent customer service from PT. Once they sent me a completely free oil just because I told them I didn’t like the one I had purchased (they sought me out, I didn’t complain to them. There wasn’t anything wrong with the oil, I just didnt like it!) My family loves Sniffle Stopper.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome to hear that Sarah! Thanks for sharing your experience!

  9. Daphne

I have been using plant therapy for a few years and really like it.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear it! Thanks for the feedback Daphne!

This is a link to the company I use. (Jade Bloom) They are not a multilevel marketing company. Their shipping is free after a $10 order and if you are unsatisfied with any of their products you can get your money back plus they will pay for the return shipping. I can’t afford young living “thieves blend” so I use their copycat blend which is called “protect”. The ingredients are exact! I love all my oils from them. So affordable and therapeutic grade. https://jadebloom.com/user/Oilmom

  11. Love2save

Hi! I have never use oils but I’m willing to try them. I’m would like the oils to help some of my family member that have ADD, anxiety, diabetic, PMS and migraine. If someone can help me choose which oils will I be needing. Thank you

    • Ger

Hi! I’ve recently came across Plant Therapy & have been diffusing & using their oils for my entire family ever since Collin posted the diffuser Necklace deal couple months back. You will want to get their KidSafe starter package, has most of the essentials. My faves are Calming the Child, Germ Destoyer, Sniffle stopper. For Women Balance Synergy is Amazing for when that time comes! I love to put on my belly & especially my lower back when I get horrible cramps there(use with coconut oil) Cramp free! hubby & I call it Crazy free oil! Lol πŸ˜‚My girls (8&4) Won’t go to be without Calming or Nighty Nighty. And when they have the sniffles or clogged noses, sniffle stopper will be your best friend. Research oils, but I’m LOVING PT’s brand that even other brands that are cheaper-I can’t bring myself to buy bc in hooked on PTs kidsafe lines. I’ve even been giving my friends & coworkers sone of their Oils & they are LOVING them! Good luck & you won’t regret buying Plant Therapy!!!

    • Ger

Forgot, get Tension relief for your migraines…it does wonders!!! 😍

    • thediyparent

Hi Love2save! I am a wellness advocate with DoTERRA Essential Oils and I’d be happy to tell you more about essential oils! Our family uses them everyday and they have been so helpful to us. There *is* a difference in sourcing, production, purity & quality from one essential brand to another. If you want to know more, send me a quick email thediyparent [at] gmail [dot] com. I’d love to chat!

      • art

Love2save don’t get involved with these MLM, a pamphlet does not make some one an expert. Plant Therapy is an excellent brand. Do your own research, not what’s fed to you by a MLM rep. They advocate internal use, use in your mascara and neat use on babies. Be afraid!

    • Plant Therapy

Hi Love2Save! There are so many amazing oils that could help with the concerns you listed above. I recommend emailing Plant Therapy’s Certified Aromatherapists at aromatherapist@planttherapy.com and we would be more than happy to give you some suggestions based off of your specific needs and concerns. And since you are new to oils, I recommend starting with a couple of your biggest concerns and we can give you specific oils and usage directions to get the most out of your oils!

Let me know if this helps and if you have any other questions! Thanks!

  12. Ger

Collin/Plant Therapy When does this sale end with the special code?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The deal is good through today, 10/5 πŸ™‚

  13. Wren

Hi Collin and Plant Therapy… I missed the last promo for the kids line of roll-ons, I hope maybe you do another one of those some time! Thank you πŸ™‚

    • Plant Therapy

      Thanks for your feedback Wren!

  14. Sam

First time buying plant therapy oils any suggestions for toddlers having cough and cold every months and what type of diffuser is godd to buy

    • Plant Therapy

Hi Sam! Our Sniffle Stopper is the best KidSafe synergy to help with congestion and coughing. I also love using Immune Boom to help build my children’s immune systems to prevent them from getting as much. I use the pre-diluted roll-on immune boom on their chest or back of their neck often during the winter seasons and then I will use the roll-on Sniffle Stopper on their chest and right under their nose when they are sick. It helps clear them up a lot.

The best diffuser will depend on the square footage you are wanting to cover and any other specifics you want to address with a diffuser. The ones that use water will cover enough square footage for one room but not a large area. I like the Moon diffuser for my children’s bedroom because it also has a soft light on it that I will use as a night light.

Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions.

  15. mamasweetpea08

any one know what the differences are between Nature Shield and Shield Me other than one having the kidsafe label? What specific ingredient is of concern for kids that is found in Nature Shield? Is Nature Shield safe to use with children if I make it into a spray? Thanks.

    • Plant Therapy

Hi mamasweetpea08! There are two essential oils in Nature Shield that are not considered safe to use with younger children. If you are going to use the oils topically on a child, I wouldn’t use Nature Shield. And if you are looking for something you can use for adults and your children, Shield me is just as effective and completely safe for children so I would go with that one.

Nature Shield has Lemongrass which is a strong skin irritant which is why we don’t recommend it be used with children, and Eucalyptus Globulus that has been known to cause breathing problems in young kids when used near their face.

Let me know if this helps and if you have any other questions. Thanks!
