Just tried to purchase and it says it’s unavailable 😔
Oh bummer! 🙁
I saw this on Woot for $199 this week so y’all might want to check there before paying $299.
I would like some reviews on this product. I have been on the look out for this cordless vacuum but i feel like it would be a hassle to charge every 20 minutes to continue to vacuum. Unless you vacuum quickly or in sections i am just a little confused.
I love it but the battery issue is a problem. I have found that if I clean out the canister that it does make the battery life last longer. I just got my husband to buy the new one that has a 40 minute battery life.
Clean the canister! I do it every 5ish minutes and it lasts longer. I love mine!
Yup the battery is an issue, I just bought this unit used it once charged it once and now it won’t turn on, called Dyson and they said that after it’s done charging for 3 hours you have to in plug it, because the battery has a memory ? Not fair at all only used it once. So now I have to take it off the dock or unplug it by 3 hours so that the battery does not get fried ?? I got because I wanted it to be ready when I need it but now I have to drain the battery all 20 min of it and charge it for 3 hr
Hmm… I don’t have that problem.
I bought one in March 2014 and this month the battery died. I called Dyson and after troubleshooting they told me the battery was dead because I kept it plugged in all the time instead of unplugging it when the battery was fully charged. My warranty expired in March 2016 so it died only six months after the warranty ended. I’m surprised that it only comes the two-year warranty. They offered to send me a new battery for $75. I declined, and bought a cheaper no-name battery from Amazon. I really don’t think this vacuum is worth the money or the hype.
Thank you for all the great reviews! Looks like its more of a hassle than what its actually good for if you have to remember to unhook after 3 hours is up… i will stick with my vacuum lol
