My two older girls are 5 and 9 and still use cups with lids. The younger one uses sippy cup and the older one straw cup. Mainly because they spill too much and I am not looking for extra messes. They constantly knock over their cups with lids or knock them on the floor. Too busy for messes have a baby also.
The snack cups are great for car rides, even for older kids. My 5 year old uses one when we go on longer trips.
