If you have long haired humans or pets, dyson IS NOT the brand you need. I bought the animal dyson last November and by this June the roller brush had totally melted from the fur and hair.
I bought a Fuller brand for $535 that has a metal roller brush and a bag, instead of a canister. I no longer have to stop every 4 feet to empty a canister!
