So frustrate with Kmart/Sears now. I purchased some Hanes underwear posted here about 2 weeks ago, and about a week after I placed my order got the underwear and confirmation that I could have earned $28 in points in my e-mail, but I only have $23 in my account. Then I contacted them, they asked to send the e-mail and I did, they replied that it’s just an estimates. Did this happened to you? Don’t you feel like they just bait and switch? What would you do?
I need to contact them I placed an order for hoodies that said I’d earn $62 in points and only got $52 and if they tell me that it was an estimate I will escalate it. Even my email confirmation for my order says I should have received $62 in points.
Did they ship from different places? I had a problem with points, and they told me it’s because my order shipped from separate warehouses and broke my order up into what looked like (to their SYW earnings computer) as different transactions. That is why I didn’t get the points I should have. Hopefully it can be fixed for you, too!
Kim that was exactly what happened to me as they break it into different transactions if it’s not from the same place. Just fyi for others.
So did they fix your points yes my order has two different ups tracking numbers so they may have come from different warehouses?

I also had a problem getting my points. They also told me that it was an estimate. I told them that my email confirmed that I EARNED those points but with no luck. I finally got disgusted and told them I wanted to return the hanes items I purchased. I was transfered to the return department and they added on my missing points. I got them within an hour. Talk about a hassle.

Well the deal has changed…had them in my cart and showed $50 back then went back and only showing $40 now for 2 pairs of boots…
If you use any points to pay you will not get back $50 in points.
Nope not using points…I have tried different things and now it is only showing $40…and BTW the person at the top of the list said she did use points and got the full $50

I bought the Everlast deal a few weeks ago and didn’t get all my points. They also told me it was an estimate. They gave me my points, but said they won’t do it again since I call in too much!

I just ordered 3 jackets and a pair of yoga pants for the grandkids. Paid $58 and it SAYS I will get back $66… we’ll see how that works out. I have generally had good luck with the sears/kmart deals…. and when I shop in the stores, the clerks are always amazed at the amount of points I have. They add up fast with deals like this and the 100 percent back deals, and I always have points to spend when I go shopping. Love the free shipping, too.

I just don’t get how to use these points. I’ve tried several of the posted deals and it always says, for example: “You could USE 40,000 points and also EARN 50,000 points” yet when I apply any amount of points to the transaction the points I could earn disappear. How can I USE points and EARN them in the same transaction like some of the people above have done?
Momto2, Using points to earn points is generally speaking something that doesn’t happen too often. Sometimes you can go to the place on the payment screen where you can apply points to purchase and then see what amount of points you will earn. It is advantageous to play with the points applied from high to middle to low and see what each will give you. Only two times in the 2 dozen times I have placed orders and tried to use points, did the system let me earn points when paying with some points. In my mind IF I can use the order (those which earn points back) as a birthday, christmas or other gift, I can justify paying with my $ (as I would be buying a gift anyway) and then earn the points back to use for something else that I need for myself or as another gift. It is great when they let you use and earn points but that’s seldom. I think these are great promos still by SYW. Sure sometimes you have to pay…but if you can earn the points back it’s like FREE money to me. My Christmas shopping is literally done at this point and I have three gifts wrapped already! Yay!
*Suggestion if you do any deals: Make sure that you screen shot all of the checkout pages including the points earned and spent breakdown as proof of purchase in case of any problems with SYW not rewarding the points. I have never had a problem with proof. Happy Shopping!
Anyone familar with how B1G1 Free applied in store for the free item. For example I if buy 2-14.99 items and 2-16.99 items. On the website, the 2-14.99 items would be free but is it different in the store. I recall buying B1G1 Free clothing before with 2-21.99 and 2- 19.99 items and I got one 21.99 and 19.99 item free. Thanks.
