My local stores won’t adjust the 2 cents on these. Also beware, in my area the majority of these are expired. I don’t like to buy expired items.

what do you mean by “adjust the 2 cents” on these?

      • nin

Since they are 99cents the total will be $1.98 but the coupon is for $2 off 2 so the cashier will not adjust the coupon down 2 cents in this person’s experience

CVS has a “find any expired product, we give you EB” policy. If this is the case at your store, you may get a lot for free!

To those who got these coupons, they also have several types of gold emblem abound nuts available for $ 1.00 each. (cashews, almonds, pistachios, deluxe mix and others, both unsalted and salted varieties available)…. perfect if you want only the more nutritious parts of these nut bars, without all the added sugar.

ALSO on coupons.com is $1/1 any gold emblem abound grocery or drink item. I found 16oz bottles of sweet tea for only 1.49, making them only .49 each.

All-in-all, My trip to CVS today in 2 separate transactions yielded 4 nut packets (FREE), 2 Ocean spray drinks (FREE AFTER EBs), 2 sweet tea drinks(.98), 1 Colgate total toothpaste (.25 Money maker after instant red machine coupon + .75/1 coupons.com coupon), 2 small boxes of oreos (the rectangular boxes) , and one small box of cheeze-its. (last two are .99 cents each), all for little over $4 including tax…..(comes up to only about .34 per item). and all those snacks just in time for a road trip this upcoming week =D

PS: Something I learned from a CVS associate today that I had no clue of prior, if you have a CVS near you that, like mine, is NOT a 24 hour store, but closes at 10pm instead, they do “early release” where they start the next week’s deals a couple hours early (Saturday night @ 6pm) =D. (but she says sometimes at that time the extrabucks will not print out automatically and they have to do it manually, so watch out for that). Just sounds like a perfect option if there is a week where there will be lots of freebies and great deals…..you can get a head start & pretty much guarantee that you’ll find what you’re looking for in stock.

Yay!! I’ve been waiting for these to go on sale again so that I can use some more of my coupons. They only let me use one at a time.

    • Kimberly

I just do a second transaction with the second coupon and bar. I have never had a problem.

  3. Stacey

Bummer! Coupons are already gone for me!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmm, I am still finding it. Maybe try refining your search to food items and scroll down through. I am finding it that way. Hope this helps!
