I adore Ugg boots! They are the best quality, I’ve had my first pair for almost 10 years and they still look fantastic (I’ve even worn them in the snow). I just put Scotch Guard on every year. I have 3 pairs of their boots and 3 pairs of slippers, if you’re on the fence, do it! They are sooo worth the money!

Hi Nina… ethical treatment of animals is always a concern of mine as well. The video going around facebook is untrue. Uggs are made from the sheep hide, which is a by-product of the sheep — sheep that are raised for food. The sheep are not raised only for their wool. Although, I know there are always some bad apples in the bunch, UGG does take pride in their commitment to animal welfare. Here is a link:

Yes used for food as well but have you seen how they treat the animals prior? They cut the skins as they sheer them leaving gaping holes. Not caring how they are treating them as they are only gonna die anyway right? Don’t take my word for it, plenty of videos out there showing it. Google it, and educate yourself. Even if there is the SLIGHTEST doubt one should take pause when purchasing as you are contributing to it. I would NEVER putchase these, I would go barefoot first.
My daughter has been wanting these since last year, but they were too pricey. Now to hope her feet stop growing as she is a Woman’s 9 and she is 12. I am hoping she will fit these for a few years. Thank you for the great deal.
