I’m new to the Ebook thing. Is it possible to give these as Christmas gifts, or do they download immediately?
They download on the Kindle app or tablet associated with the amazon account that made the purchase. I hope this helps
I’m fairly new myself, but I found this video on youtube that shows you how to send your gift (and you can date it to send at a future date if you choose) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVdTdgZMPkM. Or if you have a family account you could wait until Christmas and then load all the books to the different Kindles on the account (I was able to do that from my smartphone or computer). There is also the ability to loan a book from your library to someone who is not on your shared account, but that is limited to 14 days (so I wouldn’t recommend that for a gift).
