I bought this last time. It’s the thinnest toilet paper I’ve ever seen. I’m donating it.
But it is the best tiolet paper recommended for septic systems.
And grandchildren who use too much! Plus we have a septic system.

I got this last time, too. Very thin, but lasts a little longer than other rolls. We have a septic, but I don’t think the other brands have made a negative impact compared to the Scott,s 1000. Still have a few rolls left, but will pass on this. For the quality and price I have not been able to find better than Costco brand.

I actually ordered 2 of these yesterday. They’re our favorite TP as well – I grew up on the stuff and anything thicker seems wasteful and useless.
Yes I don’t need tp that’s as thick as a towel. I also believe the thicker stuff is wasteful especially a waste of money.
Same here. I prefer this but hubby thinks his rear is special. I think it’s silly to waste money on something you wipe your butt with. I sometimes compromise and get Scott extra soft.

I love this for our septic! Great deal! I bought some called Velvet in an emergency and a roll only lasted a day! I only buy this brand now. My husband realized he’s lost the battle for cushy tp. I personally hate the soft stuff cuz when I use it I don’t want anything left “behind”. 🙂

I think this is the worst toilet paper ever. We bought a big pack like a year ago and we will only use one roll then can’t stand to use another for a couple of months! haha
Just FYI, we call this prison TP at my house. I would be embarrassed to put it in a guest bathroom! I will avoid it at all costs in the future!

Many have no TP at all. TP is definitely a first world problem and we are too spoiled.

The passive aggressiveness of this thread is making me cringe, but my two cents: while the replies to your original comment was “being judged”…your original comment was incredibly judgmental of anyone that chooses to use this toilet paper and provide it for their guests. So while you were offended by their comments, others were probably offended by yours.
Some people prefer soft toilet paper, some prefer thin. Some can afford soft, some can afford thin. Honest feedback is one thing, but no need to make others feel like an embarrassment for choosing to use this toilet paper, whatever the reason.

Sorry you feel judged but LB post is on point. I had never thought I should be embarrassed to use this TP and have it for my guests to use. I had no idea people even cared about that sort of thing until I saw your post…call me naive but that’s why I said wow. I learn something new everyday I guess.
Agreed. If guests are upset over my toilet paper then maybe those are guests I don’t need 🙂 I’m a Scott girl myself. I want to feel like I’m “cleaning” rather than just “pampering” that area 😉 but I don’t hold a grudge against those who prefer the other brands. We are all different. Bout like dukes mayo or hellmans. That’s a big dispute in the south! We all have what we like and stick to our preference.
Grabbed this the other day, just got in yesterday. Best TP especially with a lot of kids/teenagers. No more clogged toilets. Been using it for years!
We use this stuff exclusively. If you are sensitive to thin toilet paper, then, yes, don’t get it. But I was raised on recycled Seventh Generation toilet paper in the 1980s so this stuff feels like a cloud to me!

I guess the issue of thick or thin tp is as much of an issue as which way to hang the roll. I’m a fan of this kind because it lasts so much longer. If you like it cushy, just roll out a little extra.
I just got home and mine was on the porch from the last deal you posted. I also grew up on Scott tissue (it use to be thicker), but I don’t mind the thickness of it because we also have a septic system and this is really good for it. I love this tissue and I stock up when it’s a great deal. IMO it lasts longer than the other brands that I’ve tried (once again my preference), but I will get other brands if it’s a great deal (I donate it or use as a back up if I’m out of Scott). I love it. Don’t have to keep changing rolls, and I don’t like the feel of the cushy stuff – seems wasteful and it’s too linty.
Scott 1000 is just as soft to me once it’s bunched up a bit :0 You can use a little more since it’s so thin, but even using more, you get more for your money.
I don’t put it in the guest bathroom because I don’t want to traumatize any picky guests, but that bathroom isn’t used as much. The family uses the Scott and everyone is happy.
My husband is not crazy over this, but I LOVE it. I only buy Scott TP and Viva paper towels! Thanks for the great deal!
