Looks like a great deal! Worth it for just the tickets!

Sounds like a great deal, I’m skeptical of restaurant.com though. Does anyone have any experience with them? When I type in my zip code on their website, the only restaurants that come up are on the sketchy side of town or ones I’ve never heard of.

I have used restaurant.com before. There were very few restaurants to choose from and it was the spendy restaurants. I still thought it was a good deal.

We got a restaurant.com gift card once and it was such random restaurants we never got any use out of it.

Sorry for the confusion! I just updated the post!

I’ve used them several times. It’s legit just be sure to tell your server before they get your ck. I’ve bought some for out of town trips that didn’t wk out for me to go and they let me trade them out for different restaurants. Make sure to read fine print regarding alcoholic beverage purchases.

Thanks for the helpful feedback! Good to know!

I’ve used restaurant.com several times. It kinda sucks. You get a certificate for a certain amount but then have to spend a certain amount above it. For example, I might buy a certificate worth $25 for $10. Seems like a good deal since you’re saving $15. But it has a minimum purchase of $50 at the restaurant. This often caused us to order way more than we normally would so we didn’t really save money. And it has weird restrictions sometimes.

Exactly my experience with it. They do have some good deals as long as you intend to spend what is required but it’s more like buying a coupon rather than a gift card…which for this price imo could very well be worth it! Just be sure to read the fine print if you decide to try it out.

Oh bummer 🙁 Sorry to hear you have not had the best experience. Thanks for the honest review!

Did a pretty similar deal to this and it ended up being worth it. Mine also included an 8 x 10 photo canvas which was an odd add on but nice. I had some ok ones to choose from in my area and tried some new places. I had some $10/15 and $25/50. I actually could get quite a few for the $100 and they took awhile to use.We would use the big ones when parents would visit and we went out to eat. Have to tell them beforehand and alcohol usually excluded.

We also saw an evening 3d movie to get the most bang for the tickets.

I stay away from them. The last few I bought we showed up to the restaurant having no knowledge of being part of the deal so they refused us. The others we showed up with a huge sign meeting us at the entrance saying “we did not and will not honor restaurant.com vouchers” I was never successful and never got a refund for all my money wasted. It’s a joke!

Darn! So sorry to hear about that 🙁 Thanks for sharing!

I work at an individually owned coffee shop. We occasionally get people coming in with these coupons. I have seen on a site that lists us and reviews that there is a link in a corner to buy one of these coupons. I think it is about 2 or 3 dollars. Mostly we have gotten ones for buy 15 dollars get 5 dollars off or buy 10 get 5 dollars off. We honor the coupon just so they can get to try us instead of a big chain coffee shop. We have not put these coupons out and have not paid to put these out. So I don’t understand how they can do it. My boss enters in a code when we get their coupon and I think points or something is racked up. So it really is they are losing money because we didn’t send these out. Maybe it’s different for restaurants that actually have a higher bill. So it’s simple to understand why they don’t like accepting them when they practically are giving away food for free. It is there choice if they want to honor it or not. The only plus aide for us is It is kind of like free advertising for us. Just know thus is why most businesses don’t honor it though. Or don’t know about it.

There’s a local restaurant that my family frequents. I took advantage of Restaurants.com sale a while back $20 off ($50) for $4 for this restaurant. I bought 4. We used one every month and saved $21 a visit. I think it’s hit and miss. I got lucky.
