Who wants a Free Macy’s gift card?!
Tomorrow and Friday only, December 22nd and 23rd, the first 250 customers at 600 Macy’s stores across the country will each score a FREE $10 Macy’s gift card – the gift cards will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at store opening (local store hours may vary so call your store for opening times). These gift cards are limited to one per customer and redeemable in-store only. Check out this press release for more information.

They did this last year too. I accidentally stumbled on it when I walked through Macy’s to return something at another store. They were just giving them out at the door. I sometimes the next hour determined to spend it on something less than $15 😂
They are also redeemable online. It states it on the back. I got 1 this morning thanks to a fellow hipster, and used it to do the Burt’s bees deal twice (earned $10.00 in Macys cash and paid .60 oop after applying the gift card).
I was looking around and a lady went up to two other customers and offered them One so then I went and asked If i could have one. 🙂

Hey Amanda! They’re promotional cards that expire on 12/23, so you could, but they would have to use it very soon! Not actual gift cards to give as gifts I mean 😉

Godiva $13 dlrs paid difference , clearance clothes ! Now , some lady’s went to different Macy’s and got 3 from 2 different locations so they got 6 total ! I only got one I’m happy ! Tomorrow I’m taking my daughters they can get a little something for them good luck ladies !!!

My store gave them today. I was able to buy 2 MAC Troll lipsticks that were marked down to 5.04 each. After tax I paid 1.09 for both.

We did this last year and they were so weird about it. They weren’t at the door like JC Penney does. We had to walk around and find someone and they said follow me. We walked pretty far and they were in the back in the shoe dept. So strange. They acted like it was a secret. Why do they make these things so difficult sometimes? It’s like they don’t even inform most of the employees about the promotion.
Yeah, I agree, even Macy’s website doesn’t mention it. JC penney atleast puts the promotion on their home page
Same experience from JC Penney (yay) this past week and at Macy’s last year- we had to ask and find the person giving the coupons out.
I heard them tell each other to tell their families to come so that’s probably why they weren’t up front giving them out.
I called my Macy’s. She said they had given out today’s supply and to come tomorrow morning when they open. She seemed enthusiastic when telling me.

Got up to get the newspaper and to take boss to pee 92 yrs old ! 😳And looked at newspaper and it was advertised there ! So, termed my friends and even called up told you all complaint that you don’t have $$ we’ll get up and go ! I’m making my last rounds before my surgery the 28 ! Got the Macy’s ad for sales dec 26-dec 27 just thinking if I can get to go !! Knowing that I be out of commission for maybe 2 weeks unless , I can get my friend to take me in a wheelchair ! So happy my daughters boyfriend came to ask my husband for his blessing to get Engaged

I know the card says only 1 card per transaction, but has anyone tried using more than 1? I thought they might act like gift cards so I’m not sure. We have gotten multiple, so it would be great to just shop around instead of search for something that’s greater than or equal to $10..
Yes, You can use up to 5 gift cards in one transaction. They are just like gift cards
Is there anywhere from Macy’s officially posted so I can show my store? My store had no idea asking several people yesterday and I had the same experience last year. Last year one associate secretly had them in a purse and I acted like I was asking for an organ lol.
I had the same experience today. Nobody had no clue about the gift card giveaway and they were acting like they don’t wanna give it out. Why have these promotions if you don’t want to attract customers and act all dumb when people ask about it. Not happy with Macy’s customer service
I had to ask someone. She then called the manager. He had them and very pleasantly gave it to me thanking me for shopping so early (8am). Thanks to H2S I knew about this but I didn’t see him giving them out to anyone else. It doesn’t make sense to offer this and have to ask for it. BUT I will be going back tomorrow morning! Ornaments are 60% off.
I dragged my whole family in at 8 AM yesterday and received 5 of the gift cards. Later in the day my hubby and I went back to shop and they were still handing out cards…we told them we already received them that AM and the gal INSISTED that we take another $20 worth! We were THRILLED, we got some very high quality joggers for my older two boys and the CS rep gave us 20% off and let us use multiple gift cards in one transaction. My hubby and kids went back this AM and got another 4 cards and I ordered a drone for my middle son’s birthday (3 days after Christmas). I am SO thankful for this promotion and that Macy’s was so gracious about honoring the gift cards 🙂
