Through January 28th, Google Play is offering up 50% off any MP3 album – be sure to log into your account and then the discount should automatically apply at checkout. Note that the 50% off discount is already reflected in the price and will show up to qualifying members when you are logged in. As an example, the Pentatonix Christmas album was only $4.99 for me (regularly $9.99). Awesome!
And through January 23rd, you can score any movie rental for just 99¢. As with the above offer, you will need to be logged in to your Google Play account (both offers have a limit of 1).

Didn’t appear to take off discount at checkout- not sure why
How do u know when it’s half off? Shows regular price when I go to check out, will it only charge it at 50%?
Doesn’t work with play credits… took my $10 credit and charged me the additional..
It didn’t take 50% off for me either. It did show up at the top that they were 50% off but it was the full price at checkout. It took my Google play credit then charged me the rest.
i just bought an album and it charged my acct. full price, now what do i do, i want my $ back
Go to google play account then order history, scroll to the right side of the order where three little dots are and select request refund. You just have to fill in small form.

I had to log out, then log back in and click through the banner at the top of Google Play that said 50% off any mp3 album before I could get it to work. Hth!

THIS!! Thank you, this is exactly correct. I wasn’t seeing half price reflected on final checkout until I went to the main Music page and clicked the banner.
