Just fun for the kids. It is exciting for them to look for our elf each day leading up to Christmas.
I don’t care why it’s so popular, just that it is! People are clamoring for the original Japan elves from the 1950’s on which this is based. I deal in antiques and my elves were sold pretty fast this year.

This set isn’t worth full price but for $12 or less it is. It makes it easier to come up with tricks. I’ve gotten pretty lazy lol propping them around the house and these things make it easier for this tired mom of 5!

Just came back from Target. Got the St Bernard, reindeer outfit, and this elf at play. Also just placed an order on target.com for the original elf on the shelf set. My baby is 9M old right now, we are all set for his next Christmas!
