I’m so upset I went to Walmart to buy some ornaments and they weren’t on sale. But they were on sale on the Walmart website and I asked them to Price match and the miniature came over and said they don’t price match hallmark Or other companies other than the Walmart brand. Does that make sense to anyone else ? Because it doesn’t make any sense to me.
I just know Hallmark doesnt go on sale in my area.
^Was told that same nonsense today as well. Hallmark is their own “retailer” inside of Walmart stores. Was told by a Hallmark sales representative today while browsing ornaments that they had received an email from Corporate stating they should be on sale along with other holiday items. That has ALWAYS been the case in the past.
I am a Hallmark rep and there seemed to be an issue with the discounts across most Walmarts. Everything is 50% off except for the single cards. New this year they added the packs of cards to the mark downs which is pretty exciting so make sure you go and get some!! As far as the ornaments, try again tomorrow and if they are not ringing up correctly try and see if the Hallmark rep is working in your store. The rep can give permission to override the price.
