I use the vast majority of deals that Collin posts for my own consumption. What I didn’t mention was that I ordered two boxes as they will arrive in time for us to enjoy them for a day before our flight, and will leave the second box in our kitchen for my inlaws. I see no harm in using a published deal for either myself or family as a gift. Hoping I mis-read the intent of your response! 🙂

For some reason on my desktop it was somehow getting mixed up with shop runner…..even though I saw NO shop runner logos anywhere, nor did I sign in, request shop runner shipping, or anything like that—–and giving me an error code. I buy pears from H&D for myself for Christmas each year. I have gotten the Maverick ones (twice to make sure) and didn’t like them as nearly as much as the Favorites. They are good pears just not the outstanding pears of the other kind. I can’t wait to try the Holiday ones I got earlier.
Just a warning for those who have never had them, they ripen fast and once they do you need to get them into the fridge immediately.

I talked with CS today. They were great! I was in the phone for 25 minutes, but they refunded me the difference (about $27) and since the pears were already en route, they are letting me keep the original order. Love H & D CS!
