I don’t get it. What are these and whats the appeal? It seems these things are what every kid is wanting, except my 6 year old thankfully. They don’t stay in stock anywhere. Are these updated furbies?
They are Furbies that “hatch”–if working properly. I’m not sure why they’re so hot either. The magic of marketing, I guess.
I thought a lot about why these were such a hot toy this year. Kids love mystery, taking care of something of their own and not to mention the whole toy in the egg thing. Marketing was brilliant with these things…they would only sell a couple at a time and kids and parents fell for them. No one really knew what they did after hatched, which was actually intriguing. At the end tough, kids couldn’t do much with them. They aren’t like the Cabbage Patch from the 80’s where kids actually could play with – my daughter plays with my old one at Grandma’s house, lol. Anyway…if they were more interactive after hatching I think they would have been a huge hit!
Every kid is different. My daughter absolutely love hers. It has to go with her every where. And you actually can do a lot more with it than just take care of it. You can play games with it too. In my opinion, it was well worth the purchase.
