How do Bonus Rewards work?
They are different than your normal rewards. Your bonus rewards certificate will be available in your online account within 5 weeks. Simply log in to or create your account at officedepot.com/rewards and click on “View My Rewards Certificates” to view and print your unexpired reward certificates. You can also access your rewards certificates on your smartphone after creating an online account.
Reward certificates can be redeemed at any Office Depot or OfficeMax store, online or by phone at 1.800.463.3768. For online purchases, your unexpired certificates are available at checkout.

I’ve never done this before, do bonus rewards expire? And when would these ones expire? TIA!
Yes they expire. Not for quite some time though. I can’t remember the exact time but I think maybe once a quarter. You also typically wait to get the points. When you get them you can see them on your phone app or their website.
Their customer service is fantastic online any time I’ve had a question they have always been really helpful.
I bought a printer for like $60 and got $50 back in points. I used those points to buy other things that offered the rewards. I think I did at least five orders that way until I finally spent the last rewards on some plastic storage boxes.

To clarify, you can buy other reward offers with your rewards once you get them, this getting your “money” back again and again.
I set an reminder to check for my rewards everyotger week or so. That way I don’t let them expire accidentally.
