Being able to adjust the temp from your phone is a big plus and if you are upgrading from an on programmable, you should see increased energy savings.

My husband is a union mechanic and builds and installs new systems in major buildings where their a.c. is as big as a bus. Literally. Think hospitals ect. Anyhow, so of course he thinks we need the best and latest and greatest stuff when it comes to energy efficiency and savings. That being said, we’ve had this stat for a couple of yrs and absolutely love it.

J, does it make a clicking noise when it adjusts the temp? We have a decent programmable (not wifi) that makes a click. It’s in our bedroom & the stupid thing wakes me up. I’m looking for one that doesn’t make that noise!
We have this one and it does make the clicking noise ! Ours is in our bedroom and it annoys me too ! Otherwise , we love it though .
