How odd, have you by chance already checked your credit with Credit Sesame?
I think it’s better to use http://www.annualcreditreport.com. It’s the only one of these free credit report sites that is run by the Federal govt. I am very leery about putting my info out so I run from the sites that claim to be free. You can’t get your credit score through annualcreditreport.com but you can get your report from all 3 credit reporting agencies.
Actually you can get your credit report free once a year at each of the three credit reporting agency’s… Equifax, Trans Union, and Experian. You can go to their website directly and request them. I do it every single year. They mail them to you. I review everything every year. One time I found that my 10-year-old had bought a car! Ha! Got that resolved very quickly.
You can check one of those every four months, that way you can keep a closer eye on your credit.
My malware program blocked this site. So, beware.
