Question – Can the Ranier fit 3 across like the RXT?
Yes the rainier is a newer model I think w higher weight limits, we have three and they fit across

Just installed this in my Mini Cooper in humid 80+ degree mn weather. It was difficult and not much fun 😩 But I would do it again! Feels so much safer than the other one I was using!!

Just FYI anyone looking to install these in a Suburban….Diono seats are not compatible with the 3rd row suburban seatbelts (at least the years prior to 2003, though I’ve heard the newer ones are included as well)- the belt slot is too low and near the seat and the Suburban belts come too far out, so you can’t get a tight install. Take it from someone who purchased three of them to do three across and didn’t learn it until later. Apparently it’s commonly known amongst carseat experts, but I wish I would have checked before buying! Love the seats otherwise!
