Walgreens: Dove Beauty Bars ONLY 35¢ Each – NO Coupons Needed

Hip2Save may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you via trusted partners and affiliate links in this post. Prices and availability are accurate as of time posted. Read our full disclosure policy here.

Through September 2nd, Dove Bath and Skin Care products are on sale Buy 1 Get 1 50% off at Walgreens. Even better, when you buy 2, you’ll get 2000 Bonus Points (= $2 reward).

BUT, this deal gets even sweeter as the single Dove Beauty Bars are included AND you may receive 4000 Bonus Points (= $4 reward) instead of the advertised 2000 Bonus Points when you buy 2.

NOTE, the 4,000 bonus points appears to have been an error, so the deal idea below has been updated to reflect that (still an awesome buy!)…

Dove Bath or Skin Care, Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off
Deal Scenario
Buy 2 Dove Beauty Bars $1.79 each
Total After BOGO 50% Off Sale = $2.69
Pay $2.69
Get back 2000 Bonus Points ($2 reward)
Final Cost $0.69 total – $0.35 each!

How many times can you do this transaction?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am not finding a limit listed.

    • Sue

At ought store limit figure bars per day per house. If we find people are trying to over buy I’m sure out will drop too two. Reason for this is to be able too have out all week as well as the disclaimer in ad says over normal household use (4 weeks) is prohibited.

  2. kt

What are these bonus points? Is it like a reward program like plenti by rite aid?

  3. Nan

I just bought 2 of the sensitive skin bars and only got 2,000 points back.

    • mel

It was a glitch. It may be fixed. It looks like you got the normal sale without the glitch.

  4. N

Don’t try this…it was a glitch that got corrected…i think its irresponsible to post up glitches like this …p[eople end up losing money.

    • Laura

      I agree. If it’s a known glitch…

    • lisa

Excuse me, but Collin has helped so many save money. And you didn’t lose money on this, even if you didn’t get the extra points. Less than $1 for 2 bars of soap is pretty good.

      • Deanna

Agreed. Even if it was a glitch, that is not Collins fault..

      • N

Im not saying its anyones fault..i just feel glitches should not be advertised here…H2S has many readers and all of them can bankrupt Walgreens if needed;)
The thing is the normal deal should be posted and if its worth it, we can get on it. If a $1 for 2 bars is ur stickup price then its ok…for me its not.

        • Mel

If you’ve been a follower for a while you would know that Colin doesn’t knowingly post glitches. When she finds a good deal, she posts it. How would she knows it’s a glitch?!?

          • N

Actually she knew it was a glitch..as it was mentioned you ‘may receive’ and the breakdown was posted…the ad online said it was receive 200 points when you buy2 …if you receive 4000 it means its a glitch..simple !!!

            • zahra

really, be kind don’t make a big deal out of nothing.

            • Kevin

doesn’t automatically make it a glitch. There could have been 2 offers taking place at the same time like a weekly sale and a monthly sale as rite aid normally does this. Don’t jump to conclusions that collin is posting glitches since she normally doesn’t…she is just trying to help all of us save money.

            • N

If that was the case, then the deal would still be running…this was a glitch which was very clear in the posting…and i do appreciate Collin for everything she posts.I was giving my opinion as a regular reader to her site to just post the deals that genuine and not some glitch which unscrupulous couponers post…I think Collin and team don’t need to stoop to their level.

          What’s your stock up price?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for your feedback! The post has been updated!

    • Nancy

How could you end up losing money? Even after the glitch it’s an awesome price. If it weren’t for Collin I would not have known about this deal therefore walgreens would not have made money out of me. You seem upset to see that some ppl are getting a deal. if walgreens goes bankrupt it won’t be because of Collin trust ne. Amazon will take care of that. 😂👍

      • N

Actually i knew about the deal on Sunday morning itself…i dont do glitches …simple… i have certain principles i follow…i understand not all people need to but i expect H2S advertising only regular deals..thats my opinion and Collin and team do not have to take my advise but i just shared my opinion just like u did…i don’t think people who expected to get free soap +MM will now go out and do the deal…that means they lost money.

  5. Sree

I also bought them. I did not receive more points.
looks like that got fixed before I reached there.

  6. lovedeals

All my nearby walgreens were wiped out yesterday by one lady. Once someone finds out these deals than they don’t leave anything for others.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Bummer!

  7. Kennesha

When I bought mine I did receive 4,000 points but honestly it was still a good deal receiving 2,000 points. Either way I appreciate all that everyone at Hip2Save does to give us deals.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the feedback! Happy you could score the deal! 😉

If I buy 2 and get the reward can I use the reward on another set of 2 and get the reward again?

  10. Sue

    Yes

    • Molly Wingo

You can not redeem points and earn points in the same transaction.

      • mel

Yes, you sure can on QUANTITY deals. Since this deal requires you to purchase (2) items, then you can redeem AND earn in the same transaction. This has been changed for quite a while. It’s SPEND deals (ie spend $25, get 5000 points), than you can’t redeem and earn in the same transaction.

      • Kennesha

I was able to use points in the transaction where I earned some as well.

  11. Missy

Collin as I haven’t been on your website for a month or so I came to see the good deals and the nice and rude comments. I just wanted to THANK YOU and your team for helping me and my family SAVE , GOD BLESS !

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are SO welcome Missy! 😉

  12. Krystal

Are there any dove coupons out for this?
I bought 6 dove soap bars plus 2 of the nestle candy bars for 0.39 each total oop $9.38 then got a $1 off 4 nestle candy bar coupon.
Next transaction I bought 18 nestle bars used 3 ($1 off coupons- 1 was $1 off 4, 2 were $1 off 6) then used my $5 reward and paid 0.19 oop! I did not clear the shelfs there were plenty. Thanks for the deals!!!

  13. Krystal

I forgot to mention I got 6,000 points ($6) for every 2 dove soap bars bought (6) , that’s where my $5 reward I redeemed came from, but I could only use $5.00 at a time to redeem the rewards, why is that?
