Thanks for posting this deal! For anyone on the fence about Tide Purclean, I bought it in the honey lavender scent and it is my new favorite detergent. It smells amazing all on its own (I don’t use dryer sheets) and gets stains out. Wish I could get two bottles of it but the deal won’t be as sweet. 🙁
You’re welcome! Thanks for the great review! Good to know how great the honey lavender smells!
Thanks for the review! I’m going to try it 🙂
Was very pleased that Tide has made a bio-based cleaning detergent! But it does use a coconut derived cleaning agent in the formula and I have a family member who is very allergic to coconut. So guys, beware if you have anyone with a coconut allergy.
My Target had both the Pods and Simply Clean detergent on sale for $9.99 so it was a crazy good deal!
I bought Tide Purclean 75oz and Tide Pods 42ct for $9.99 each and received $5 GC, but even though I scanned my cartwheel app the coupons I clipped ($5 off and $2 off) did not apply so it ended up $19.98 total with $5 GC. Do you have any idea what I did wrong?? I noticed after I got home and wondering if I should go back to the store…
I have *never* had mfr coupons work properly with CartWheel. Today, I went straight from checkout to CS to return items for which I had $8.50+ in coupons that weren’t deducted. CS was super friendly and would have given me the $$ back if I could have shown her that the coupons had been loaded onto CartWheel, but I don’t have a smartphone. (I printed out and laminated my barcode and never have problems with the % off deals.) She tried looking up the coupons on her phone, but the app wasn’t working properly due to a poor signal/shoddy in-store wifi.
I think if you had gone to CS and shown that the coupons were loaded, you would have gotten the $$ back.
As mentioned, I’ve never had a mfr coupon work correctly and, honestly, don’t know why I keep trying. If Target is going to offer these coupons via CartWheel, they really need to make sure they work. I get so tired of having to put up a “fight” to get stores to honor sales, deals, and coupons they offer. Don’t want to honor it? Don’t offer. And I check expiration dates, exclusions, item limits, etc. meticulously, so I’m not trying to pull one over on anyone.
Today just wasn’t a fightin’ day for me and I gave up and returned everything.
Thank you for sharing Marti!! I guess I will go back tomorrow and try CS.
I wanted to add that I wasn’t trying to stack, use any kind of BOGO, participate in a GC deal, or anything of that kind. Just simply trying to use some regular ol’ mfr coupons clipped on CartWheel.
Same here. Both tide coupons weren’t used by cartwheel. Customer service tried to say it didn’t work because of the gift card offer. I would essentially get an item free in the end with both coupons and gift card. I told them paper coupons still work with gift card offers before.
Same here, too. If I’m going to use a manufacturer coupon loaded thru Cartwheel, I expect a trip to customer service to get back my money it didn’t take off. And I really wish they would train their employees that manufacturers’ coupons and Cartwheel % offers are supposed to work together, because my customer service trips have varied a lot based on who I’m talking to.
