Darn, I’m really not happy with the new system. I just entered a lot of codes last week for donation (because that’s really the only option for me now) I wish you could save them up again! This always helped around the holidays.

They NEVER said they weren’t offering GC’s anymore. They just changed how the program worked. With MCR, the codes were worth points, 3 for caps & 10 for flaps, which were banked in your acct, with a weekly limit. Then you could redeem the points through the rewards catalog.
The new site, the codes aren’t worth ‘points’. You just enter the codes for whatever reward, but you don’t need all the codes at once. Lets say you only have 2 coke caps. You enter them in the Amazon GC offer, and it’ll tell you that you need 8 more. As you enter the codes, it will keep track and when you hit 10 codes, you ‘ll get the reward.

You actually can scan them now if you are using a smartphone! It’s a little glitchy, but still pretty nice!

Where did you get that from? All they did was change the program up. Instead of requiring a set amount of points for a reward, now you only need to redeem a code (or more, depending on the offer) If they were getting rid of codes, the packages would not still have them. (It didn’t take long at all for Kellogg’s to phase the codes out of their packaging). And they sure wouldn’t be promoting the coca-cola site.

Question…do all coke codes now have the same value? Meaning…do 12 pack codes and bottle cap codes count as the same when entering codes for items like this? In the past…they were worth different points, but with the new rewards system…it seems like they are worth the same value. Am I missing something?
Hi Amanda! What they did was made all the different types of codes a single value, 1 Cap/Flap to equal 1 point/entry. What I’ve noticed is most of the offers take all the Code types, but a few do require Caps Only/Flaps only. HTH 🙂
1 code (no matter cap or flap) = 1 entry. Some offers are more specific, requiring bottle cap codes. Or could be brand specific, like codes from Sprite or Coke Zero products. So instead of needing a set amount of points for a reward, like 100 pts, it might require as little as 1 code and go up from there.
