Somehow I managed to get a preorder on one. I went through the Walmart app and did it very quickly. It never actually showed up as in stock on my computer. Maybe better luck using the app!
What a joke. I want a list of people that actually were able to buy it & how many they actually had. If I had to guess, 100.

It’s because people order multiple and resell them at a higher price, just like with the original nes last year
It says limit 1 per person. I didn’t attempt to buy more than one, but I am thinking it probably would stop someone if they attempt (and then they would probably lose the chance overall since it would take away time from completing the order).
I meant I general people buy them to resell. Not necessarily from Walmart today. I’ve seen these all over social media people bragging they bought 5+ and reselling for double $

I got 3 NES last year during the last shipment on best buy. There was a limit of 3. I did not resale them and I was stoked. One for my husband, one for my brother in law, and one for my other brother in law. My mother in law asked me to keep my eyes peeled. She wanted to get three for her three boys. I also score 2 of the SNES at Toy R Us on day one. One for my kids for christmas and one for my sister for her birthday. I was quick and lucky. These stores don’t need or have to put a list out. First come first serve.
Bots. People have it set up so as soon as the item goes in stock it automatically buys as many as possible in seperate transactions. My husband waited in line for a very long time on release day to get one of the 6 that Meijer had. We were able to snag one at game stop in store just by chance one day as a gift for my husband’s uncle. Better odds to get one in store.
I’m really tempted to just buy the jacked up price at $150 Bc this was my 4th try at grabbing one of these and it’s just absolutely ridiculous, it just gets sold out in seconds. I never get to complete the checkout process and I’m always way prepared I️n advance.

Also, find a seller that takes BEST OFFER on ebay and offer away. Most of these sellers have been sitting on a surplus of systems for awhile now because they’re not selling at the price they imagined.

I was contemplating this also, but one week I called around to all GameStops in our area and one had one left and I was able to go during lunch break and snag. I would try some more before caving in!
I have seen other people mention Target, Toys R Us, etc. There may be some in stores that can be purchased.
I wouldn’t do it. Try your local stores first. I went into our Target a few weeks ago and asked, and they had 3 left. They didn’t have it out on display, but they did have them in stock.
Call your Target. We called on a Tuesday am and they had 6 in stock. Our Target gets them in on Tuesdays.
Jamie- try your local Game Stop. I was bummed with Walmart so I decided to give it a whirl while I was out. I had to ask for it. They didn’t have them out. Good luck

You have to be super quick! I was able to get one for store pick up by Dec. 5th…
So not sure if this will hold true everywhere but I missed out on the Walmart deal only to walk into our local GameStop to exchange a controller and they had four Super nes classics. Guy said they keep getting a few every week so might be worth a call if you have one close by.

Try GameStop as some others have suggested! Called 3 stores locally in Richmond, VA and got a variety of responses, but found one!!! My family wanted it last xmas, so will be a great surprise this year!!

Check GameStop! After a failed attempt with Walmart, I called my local GameStop and they had them in stock! Happy I didn’t cave and pay double for one online from a seller.
Try calling your local target or gamestop! I was able to get one today at GameStop – the cashier said they just received them in today. I tried target first, and they said they would be receiving more tomorrow.
Thank you to all who said to call GameStop!!! I called my local GameStop, they are not allowed to hold it, but said if I came within the hour I should be good. I was there in 20 minutes and walked out with one!!! WoooooHoooooo 🙌 Also, they weren’t allowed to tell me how many they had stock AND they kept them in the back room.

I got one today!!! It was in the saved section of my cart yesterday. I clicked on it and then refresh and it was in my cart and I was able to complete checkout today!!! Woohoo!
Lucky! ❤️ I had one saved to my cart as well and when I clicked complete checkout it told me it was no longer available.
I do not know whether it’s just me or if everybody else experiencing issues with your website. It seems like some of the written text within your posts are running off the screen.
