We bought this the last time it was on here. Loved it at first. But the frame easily bends and the top doesn’t fit on it anymore. We didn’t even fill it up a lot. We’ve had it for about a month and it is trash. I don’t recommend at all. Sometimes the sensor doesn’t work either and have to constantly have to turn it on and off to hopefully reset it.
Try taping a coin to underside of lid and maybe it will close.
It’s not that part of the lid. It’s the actual piece that holds the top to the container part. There Jennifer saving it.

We bought this last time posted. Love it except it will not close so my son taped a quarter to the inside lid and now it works great. I guess the lid was not heavy enough.

I need one my dog can’t easily knock over, does anyone have a good suggestion?
We bought this and put bricks in the bottom and our dog doesn’t trigger the sensor! Finally, I’m not cleaning up the trash every time I turn around!
Our dogs can trigger the sensor with their noses.
I have a wooden trash can holder with a lid, my in laws had it for their great Dane years ago and when we got a huge dog they gave it to us. We’ve repaired it and I’ve scrubbed the inside, it’s still very old but I can’t find anything to replace it that is even close to the quality and functionality for keeping my dog out of the garbage. So alas I’m still using it even though it’s been used for 20 years or so. I wish I could recommend the one I have, it beautiful sturdy and my dog has never been able to get in it, but I can’t find one for sale anywhere!

We’ve had one for over a year. For $30 I think it’s held up pretty well. We have a large dog who does try to get in it and has knocked the lid off and warped it a little bit that’s more our fault for not putting it somewhere he couldn’t reach it. Other than that it open & closes no problem and is large enough for our family of 5.
Bought this trashcan a year ago. It’s great! We’ve only changed the batteries once in a year. Kids love throwing trash away. They feel like it’s magic when it opens. 😀

We have had outs for almost 2 years and we love it. When my son was about a year old he figured out how to open it though lol. Now it’s in the pantry. Still love it!
We got a similar one at Costco, I can’t remember how much it was, ( I’m certain we didn’t pay more than $40 for it ) but we’ve had it for about 2 years. It takes double a batteries and we maybe have to switch up once every 9 months. It has worked fantastic so far no problems.
I got it when it was posted last year. Still works perfectly, haven’t even had to change the batteries yet. No issues here!
