Wowza!

Yet another great Walgreens Register Reward deal. This one appears to be a hidden deal. It’s not advertised in the weekly ad:

Post Cereal is on sale 2/$5 this week
Purchase 4 Grape Nuts cereals for $10 total
Use two $1/2 coupons from the 3/1SS
Pay $8
Get back a $4 Register Reward
Final cost ONLY $1 per box!

**At this time it looks like Grape Nuts are the only variety of Post cereals working for this deal. If you find out some other ones are working, then please let us know.
(Thanks, ThriftyPuppy!)

    Has anyone tried Fruity Pebbles?

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have heard from a few sources that the Fruity pebbles don’t work!:(

The coupon from 3/1 says it’s for Post Selects cereals. Does it work for the grape nuts too?

    Yes, the coupons work fine.

Love your site! It is great! I did the Grape Nuts deal today, worked nicely and as a bonus, a $1.50 on 2 printed out and was allowed to use it so I saved one of my onterh $1/2 – Paid $3.50 for 4 boxed after RR..

    What is 3/1SS?

    Thanks! Becky

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Becky,
The SmartSource coupon insert found in the 3/1 Sunday paper!

    Hope that helps!

    Hi thanks!
I am new at your blog, and love it.
Can you please put a log on your page what the short capitalized letters stand for like SS?
It will be very helpful for new coupon users.

Where can we get teh redplum insert?
    I found there is replum.com…
    Thanks!
    Becky

If you check on the right hand side of my blog you’ll see a category under Information Station called Coupon Jargon. Click on that to see what all the abbreviations mean.

When I say SS I mean the SmartSource Insert. SmartSource and Red Plum coupon inserts are found in most Sunday newspapers.

There are so many lovely Walgreens posts, I’m not sure which to comment on! Anyway, I purchased the Irish Spring Body Wash last night and received my RR for a free Irish Spring Body Wash. When I turned it in tonight, another RR for a free body wash kicked out! Don’t know if that will work again, but I’m going to try. These will make wonderful donations to the local shelter (we’re a perfume/dye free household due to allergies).

Also, there is a $2 Dry Idea MQ in the coupons.com database. Not sure if it will work for the item listed in this week’s ad…I would’ve tried but my local WAGS was out of all Dry Idea products.

    Thanks for all you do!

    Rhonda

I’m new to all of this so what is the 3/1SS?

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The 3/1SS means the 3/1 SmartSource insert. This is coupon insert found in most Sunday papers. When I put that next to a coupon, that means the coupon is found in the 3/1 Sunday newspapers SmartSource coupon insert.

    Hope that makes sense!:)
