That is AWESOME! I was just getting ready to buy some of those! Thanks. 🙂 Do we know the limit on this deal?

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh, to have a CVS by me…. 🙁

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Eden,
It looks like it’s only a limit of one!

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

ANyone know a way to print this without all the other stuff on that page? That will take a lot of ink to print 6 copies!

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I printed each page individually and then stopped it when 1/3 of the page had printed.

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Thanks anon- that worked great!

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    you’re welcome 🙂

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

IT worked! Althought the IP Q said it was for metal hooks. I didn’t see any metal hooks so I tried the plastic and it worked great! Didn’t even have any tax charges. 🙂 Now I have 6 handy hooks!!!!

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i just did this deal. one deal on my card & one on hubby’s so i got twelve! and no tax at all! the hooks worked on plastic for me too. i was kind of worried about that…and they didn’t even beep! thanks for the GREAT deal!

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m with Anonymous 1, i want a CVS by me. I think i need to take a roadtrip.

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I can’t seem to get these to print – anyone else?

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    AWESOME! Thank you!

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just made a trip to CVS to do this and when I was checking out- the cashier had her manager come over and she looked at my coupons and said he couldn’t take any of these- they were copies. I said “no they aren’t, they are from the 3M website and I printed each one off individually.” He said “sorry- we can’t take these.” So I didnt buy them- not much I can do about that can I?

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Molly,
Next time, I would stand your ground and let them know that you would be happy to show them proof of where the coupons came from. I would also suggest having corporates # programmed in your phone. That way you can let them know you will be calling corporate regarding this. I’ve even called corporate before while standing in the store having the manager look at me… it was pretty funny!

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I haven’t been lucky enough to find the metal hooks at any of the CVS’s I frequent. And I don’t think I’d use the metal hook q on the improper item. Isn’t it likely the store won’t get their money from the manufacturer when people use the $2.50 metal hook q on the other items, especially when the page also prints out q’s for $1 off thos other items? My CVS’s are good to me, unless I find the metal hooks, I won’t be doing this 🙁 Would have been such a good deal, too!

    SAVE ON INK!!!
(you must have Adobe Reader installed for this to work)
When you open up the file from Hip2Saves link in pdf format, click the little floppy disk and save it to your desktop.
Go to your desktop and open the file.
After open, click VIEW in the menu bar and under ROTATE VIEW choose CLOCKWISE.
Also under VIEW, choose ZOOM TO.
A box will pop up and enter in the magnification of 210%.
Then, adjust the page with the scroll bars and you should be able to view only the top 2 coupons.
(You may get to this with different shortcuts and the magnification may be different depending on screen size- but it’s the general idea)
When you are viewing the coupons you want to print, choose the print option and select CURRENT VIEW.
You will only be printing what you see and you should save a ton on ink!
Hope this helps and is clear for everyone 🙂

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I “selected” the top coupon then when I went to print I choose to “print current view” and It only prints the top coupon..

It does save ink that way..but it’s only one per page..I’m not savvy enough to do it the other way.

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had a quick question. I already did this deal & got the ecbs. However, I was thinking I could do it again & use the coupons of course & get them free. I know I won’t get the ecbs again, but thought I would just get them for free. Does that make sense? Do you know if they would still ring up the same price again? I just wasn’t sure if the limit 1 was just on the ecbs or on the sale price too. I have never done it that way before. Any thoughts? Thanks!

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the deal, but my CVS would not take all 6 Q’s. the store manager was ringing me up and said it was 1 per transaction. So i told him I didn’t want them. Bummer!!!!!

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

they have them on sale at wal mart too just for $2!!. I got 2 and I’m going to get more.

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Eden,
Yes, they will still ring up at the sale price.

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

MsDee, I think yous should be able to use one per ITEM…I would call corporate!

As for ALlysmom, it is not fraud. Its not like CVS won’t get paid for cashing in coupons…all they do is send them to El PAso and get a rebate…too bad, it is your $5 loss…

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Question from a newbie. Do you have to buy all 6 at one location? If I only find 3 at one store can I go to the next store down the road and get 3 more and will the ecb’s print when I’ve purchased 6 total?

    Thanks guys!

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you ! I was able to get 6 free no tax ! It worked on the silver plastic ones for me too. She knew they weren’t metal and said if the coupon didn’t beep they would get paid. Thanks !!

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You can buy 3 at one store and 3 at another and still be eligible for the Extra Bucks. I did that today, because the first store I went to only had 3 left. As long as you purchase 6 by Saturday, you will get your Extra Bucks :).

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Picked them up on the way home, I mixed and matched 3 different kinds. No beeping coupons and got my ECB 🙂

    Thanks so much!

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My CVS was completely cleared out of 3M hooks.

  28. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Got 6 – awesome! Thanks so much

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Another wonderful deal. My CVS cashier even asked where she could get the coupons. I paid tax, but that’s Louisiana.

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you use the snapshot button on the top (the camera button), you can “cut” the coupon and paste it into word. Adjust the margins, and you can get 6 coupons on one page.

My CVS didn’t have enough in stock, and the other CVS didn’t have any!

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So I went today and only found one metal hook so I thought I’d try and mix and match with other hooks and they all rang up fine!! Didn’t even beep or anything! And I got $5 back in ECB! Nice!

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

is this deal still going on the week of 5/3??

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    No, it ended on 5/2!:(

  34. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My CVS does not stock the metal hooks, so I missed out on this deal. However, at Office Depot today, they had a different style of metal hook than the one pictured on sale for 3.99 and you buy 2, get 1 free. I used 3 of the 2.50 coupons and paid .48 + tax for all 3! The tax was more than the items cost! Glad I kept the coupons.
