My Unlucky Day!
I found a spot in my house early this morning where I was able to access an unsecured network. You may have noticed that I was able to post quite a few deals earlier today and that’s why. Well, I was drinking my coffee over the laptop (yes, I realize that is NOT smart) and my kiddos came over to have a little wrestling match on top of me. It ended with coffee being spilt all over you know what and now it’ s NOT working at all!
Well, long story short I took it to Best Buy and the good news is that we have a nice warranty on it. We will be able to get it fixed for free and they’ll have it back to me within 2 weeks. Now that’s the bad news… 2 WEEKS! I just can’t be without my beloved laptop for that long. Anyway, my plan is to get a loaner for the time being. I’m hoping to have something I can use by the end of today.
I just want to apologize for not being able to answer questions and emails. If you have emailed me or asked a question in the comments I will try to get back with you as soon as possible. I’m hoping to be back in the swing of things by tomorrow, but we’ll see!

I’m wondering if you got the puple heart earings that you posted about a while back. A friend and I each ordered and paid for a pair but haven’t received them. I was just wondering if you have or anyone else out there…

awww i am so sorry! i would be really sad too if i were you. well we will miss hearing from you as often. i just love your site & one thing that it has that other blogs do not is you updating it so often. you are really good about that. so cheer up. at least you get it fixed for free! i hope you do get a loaner or something like that. you could even go to the library for a little bit if you had to for personal stuff. (i know you would not want to spend that whole time updating us on deals. ;))

Feel bad for you. That is such a bum feeling when all of a sudden you have no computer. Funny how we got along just fine not that many years ago…But we are hooked, aren’t we? And there are many of us that LOVE your site.
Take the time to regroup yourself and your family, and really enjoy them even more than you usually do. They grow up so fast.
Best of luck in getting a speedy return of ‘old faithful’.
In the meantime, for those of you here, Coupons.com did reset and now has coupons for Kashi snack bars and cereal. 🙂

I called two places last night, one for me and one for my hubby. Both of the managers weren’t aware of the deal, but said they would do it for us anyway.

Jessica, I got my earrings last week – although, I did get in on the deal right away. I love the earrings, but I will say they came in an USPS envelope with a shipping label of $1.10. So…the shipping charges we paid (something like $6) aren’t all for shipping.

I GOT AN EMAIL BACK FROM THE PEOPLE REGARDING THE PURPLE EARRINGS. HE SAID THAT THE EARRINGS WERE ON BACKORDER AND ARE SCHEDULED TO BE SHIPPED MAY 11TH. HE SAID THAT WE COULD GET A REFUND IF THAT WAS TOO LONG BUT I TOLD HIM THAT I WANTED TO KEEP THE ORDER AS I AM GIVING THEM AS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT. JUST WANTED TO LET YALL KNOW!

I used the free silver jewelry website a bunch of times a few years back. The stuff is really nice and comes in a nice bag if I recall… great for gift giving.
