I’ve been to two different targets in two days! And both times I walked out with no items.

The first day I was told only 1 online coupon per order so I broke up my orders. I only use 2 of the same coupons, it wasnt like i was cleaning off the shelf with 20 coupons. Well only half of my coupons scanned….i was told they didnt need to accept them. I explained they were target coupons and that they should accept them. Well, the manager said there no corporate policy and coupons and she make the rules up. She did say she could make and change the rules……because i repeated it back to her.

On my second visit….I was told I couldnt use my 1.00 off chex on a 99cent bag….becasue they were going to give away anything for free. I had several this way. I tried to use 2.00 off 2 purex and i had the .99 purex….but he wouldnt change the coupon price.
i was also told i couldnt use a manufacturers coupon with a target coupon.

is there a policy online??? help me!!!! I’m ready to boycott target.

Does anyone elses Target not accept printed coupons? The ones in my area wont even accpet “target” printed coupons! Ugh! 🙂 ( we live in springfield, NJ ) I just thought that is really unfair and was wondering if others had the same policy….

It seems so ridicuolous that they won’t take their own store coupons- printed from their website. That doesn’t make any sense at all! I would call or email corporate regarding their coupon policy and have them email you a copy, so you both can bring it with you next time you go their.

Their coupon policy clearly states you can use a manufacturer coupon and a store coupon together on one item. It also states that they accept Target coupons and IP coupons!

where can i view their policy

I did my first Target shop today with hip2save tips, and it stunk. Hip2save rock!! My Target doesn’t. They didn’t like the printed coupons, though they would let me use one each, so I guess that is better then not being able to use any. I am going to call another store in my area and see if I get a different answer. My cashier rocked, I could have given her any number of coupons and she would have taken them. Unfortunately, I forgot most of my coupons, so it was just an uneventful trip. I did find some Hefty go anywhere baggies on clearance in the travel size section (my pregnant sis-in-law is going to love those for her baby bag). Happy Hunting everyone!

Hey you guys, if you go to this link:

    https://blog.al.com/frugalmom/2008/01/i_got_a_comment_the.html

There is a copy of Target’s coupon policy that she received from a Target employee that you can print off and bring with you to the store. I actually saw the exact same text email on a different site, so this must be the standard message they send anyone inquiring about coupons.

So there is a corporate policy, and it states right in there that they take BOTH Target-issued coupons and manufacturer ones. It also says that they WILL adjust the price down if the coupon exceeds the value of the product, but they won’t issue cash back for an overage. There shouldn’t be an issue with this if you bring this policy to the store, I should hope!!

    Hip2Save,
I have a question about some of your scenarios:
For the Ritz and Wheat Thins, etc at Target, you said:
Buy 2 and use 2 $1 Target coupons
Plus use the $1/2 coupon from here
    Final cost .50 per box!
But the Target Web Coupons say only 1 coupon per transaction can be used. So how can you use 2 $1 coupons?
And also, have these exact deals worked for others? I tried the Easy Mac B1G1 and then tried to use the $1 off 2, but Target said because I was getting one free, I couldn’t use the $1 off. I just want to know if it’s my particular store or something else.
    Thanks so much!
