Seeking your advice: Do you think it’s better to use a coupon before it expires if it’s an item you use or wait for a sale? For example: My husband uses Head & Shoulders shampoo and I have a coupon that will expire tomorrow. If I can’t find a sale, is it better to just buy the shampoo at the commissary (the lowest price) and use the coupon or let it expire and wait for a better opportunity down the road, in your opinion?

Thanks for all your tips and advice.

All my Kelloggs coupons still state that the print limit has been reached… 🙁

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was only able to print Raisin Bran (x2) and Mini Wheats (x1). Rest say print limit reached. 🙁

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Mine still says print limit reached also.

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmmm… Same here….still says print limit reached. I tried a few different zip codes too, same result. Anyone else having the issue too?

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Janessa–If you need the item, I would say use it. If you don’t need it for a while, coupons generally come back around pretty regularly, so you could wait. Just my opinion.

Mine still say print limit reached.

Coupons.com is so strange. It may depend on when you printed the coupons last. I was able to print all 8 of them again, but it’s been quite a few days since I printed them previously.

    Janessa,
I agree with Alissa. Since it’s a certain brand of shampoo I would say wait. It sounds like it’s more of a “need”, then a want.

Also, the Head & Shoulders coupons are usually available quite a bit throughout the year. When it does go on sale again and you have coupons, then I would suggest purchasing quite a few. That way you will never have to worry about paying retail and you’ll be able to keep stocking up throughout the year when they go on sale again.

I LOVE my stockpile. It’s so nice when you have one built up!

I was able to print all of the coupons again and my print limit was reached on some of these already. I went in using a different browser, I doubt that has anything to do with it, but just an FYI.

On the coupon ? I agree with Alisa. I almost NEVER use a coupon unless the item is on sale. I will only use it if I really really need it and the generic/store brand is more than the item if I were to use the coupon. I don’t buy anything just because I have a coupon and it will expire. My husband would kill me! (I’ve turned him into a coupon/bargain wheeling man!)

Oops! Scratch what I said before. I meant to say that it sounds like it’s more of a “want” then a need!:)

On the topic of Kelloggs cereal, if anyone shops at Kroger…this week they have some of the cereal for $1.88. Using the coupon, only .88 for a box. Listed in the add shows Mini-Wheats, Frosted Flakes and Corn Pops. It does say other selected varieties. I love cereal and always have too many boxes at one time, but they seem to go!

I was able to clip them, but when I went to print it printed out Goodlife recipe! 🙁 BOOO! And now they say print limit reached.

Also remember that food banks LOVE cereal. I just went through my stockpile of cereal and a few were ready to expire (I bought them on LAST YEAR’S .34 cereal deal at Albertsons!) so I took them to the Food Bank. I mentioned the expiration was coming up but they said they could EASILY get them donated and gobbled up by families with several kids. Coupon Crazies Payin’ it forward 🙂

    i cant print either.

About the Head & Shoulders Shampoo if you go to the new aisle in Target that has multipacks of different items there is a two pack of small Head & Shoulders. The two small ones equal the one regular size shampoo, but it is only priced at 2.50. So I used my $1.00 off coupon and got the two smaller bottles for 1.50!

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

mine all say print limit reached too 🙁

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)
