I took advantage of this earlier in the month when Wags had some of these items on clearance. Paid $12 for 5 products and earned 2 movie tickets. I’ve been on the hunt for 5 more products. Used the tickets to see Night at the Museum 2 at IMAX, and we paid only for only a child’s ticket! The rep at customer service was so impressed that I told him about the deal and your site. Thaks for EVERYTHING!

Did you know that you can use expired AMC concession stand coupons? I saw this on another blog, so I decided to test it out. It worked so well that I now keep some Qs on hand, and I just smile sweetly as I hand it over, and I’ve never had a problem.

How do you decide when to use a coupon or when to save it for later? I had used my $1/1 Axe coupons to get free travel sized Axe shower gel. I plan to use them as stocking stuffers. Then the movie deal and 25% off deal came along and I was wishing I’d not used the coupons ( just printed 2 $2 coupons from coupons.com) Have you ever had this happen and what advice do you have? Thanks!!

Most of the time I get excited about a deal and have a hard time waiting to see if anything better comes along. I also worry that if I don’t use them now they’ll expire and I’ll have missed out on a deal… so like you I tend to use coupons right when the first great deal comes along.

I’m pretty good now, though, at figuring out if the deal is worth doing or not, so I kind of decide from there. If it’s a free item I tend to always use the coupons. If it’s something like the Axe movie ticket deal and I know I’m going to the movies soon, then I’ll use the coupons. However, if I know the free movie tickets won’t have much value to me, then I’ll pass and wait for another deal to come along.

I guess really the decision to use a coupon or not depends on what products are most important to you and of course the wonderful expiration date on the coupon.

Thanks for the info. How long did it take before you felt that you were good at this, to where you were getting good deals. I keep messing up. Forgetting to use a store ad coupon at Wags, getting nervous cause people are behind me in line and not sticking to my plan cause I don’t want to do extra transactions, etc…

“TODAY was the day I have been dreading…. I was told OFF by the LOSS CONTROL District Manager in the AREA that I AM NOT SUPPOSED TO BE using more than 1 RR per trasnaction… IN FRONT OF 4 store MANAGERS who I bet will NOW be implementing this RULE….. I told her per corporate I was ok as long as I do not have more RR’s or Manu Q than number of items and she said NO IT CLEARLY says on the RR that it should be 1 per transaction… I HAVE about 200 dollars worth of RRs – in which I invested my MONEY and my TIME on….. I am DEMANDING for CORPORATE TO reimburse me for all these is even their own LOSS CONTROL person treats customers like such due to her lack of EDUCATION on their OWN POLICY and system… It was so EMBARASSING!!!! I am waiting for corporate to call me and provide me with an EXPLANATION , AN APOLOGY and also A REIMBURSEMENT for all my INVESTMENT – I am ready to give this up…… NOW!
