Kmart Super Double Coupon Event Is Baaaaack: 7/5-7/11
I have some great news! One of my readers just alerted me about Kmart doubling coupons again starting 7/5-7/11! This is the email she received from Kmart:
Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for contacting Kmart regarding the Double Coupon Event. We
appreciate your interest in this promotion.
This event is for select participating Kmart locations from 07/05-07/11
for coupons up to $2 with purchase of $25 or more in grocery and
drugstore merchandise.
Participating stores only. Amount of credit from doubling a coupon
cannot exceed the current retail price of a single item. No cash or
in-store purchase credit will be awarded for any amount exceeding the
retail price of the item. Limit 1 coupon for each item purchased. Only
1 coupon will be doubled per item. You may only purchase 4 of the same
item using double coupons. Excludes Buy One, Get One offers, Kmart
Savings coupons and Kmart Store coupons. Coupons do not apply to sales
tax. Limit 10 coupons per customer per day. Offer excludes products
prohibited by law, including but not limited to alcohol, tobacco, and
prescription medication. Not valid on non-merchandise, federal or state
regulated items, prior purchases, Lands’ End, Sears merchandise rung on
Sears registers within Kmart and kmart.com. In the event of a return,
coupon savings may be deducted from the refund. Exclusions apply. Please

When they state “with purchase of $25 or more in grocery and drugstore merchandise”, that is before any manufacturer coupons… SO it should be easy to get your total way above $25!:)
If you get a chance, I would recommend calling Kmart’s Customer Service number (1-866-562-7848) to see if in fact your store is participating. If you find out, then please feel free to let us know in the comment section!

I just called the hotline, and unfortunately, the only store in NC participating is the one in Concord, NC. Hope that helps someone out there!
For MN : one store in Moorhead and two in Duluth,again!! Neither one close to me .:(

No, Doubles for the state of Washington! She did put in a request for doubles. I thought that was pretty good customer service.
I was disappointed in NC also. However, I’ll be in Va Beach, Va celebrating the 4th of July with family and they are participating. I finally get to join in for the first time!

St. Louis Missouri is participating and apparently every first sunday of the month after that.
None in Nevada – lady said to call the day before because sometimes they add stores.
Lots in ND – Fargo, Bismarck, GF, Minot, etc.

I just called the first colonial in Virginia beach, VA is. north Charleston, SC off rivers is and Moline, IL is.
I have never gotten to participate in doubles at Kmart. Do you just tell them which coupons you want to double when you check out, or do they have the double coupons printed into their own coupons?

I just called corporate and things are a lot different then what you wrote. Unfortunately they said that you MUST spend $25 before any coupons will be taken off. So if you have $30 worth of items and using double coupons, only $5 will be taken off. Hence everyone will be spending at least $25 when they are in the store.
The girl said that there is a 10 coupon limit, but again, must be used after $25 is on the register. She said that if you have $25 worth of items, you will not be able to use any coupons until you are over $25. If you have $26 worth of items you’ll only save $1 on the coupon, regardless.
I told her that this will deter people from doing the double coupons at Kmart. She said that she has heard complaints from many people already. She said she forwards them to corporate. So if you don’t like the new deal, please call to complain maybe they will change it.
She said the reason for the change was that many people were spending far less each trip.

Are you kidding? I will def. not shop at Kmart. Some of their prices are still too high after the double coupon. I would rather shop somewhere that does not punish their couponers. Every time I have been to Kmart it is filthy. I feel like I cannot take my child in there because their carts are horrendous. Gross! I saw some coughdrops out of place on an endcap for the first round of doubles and they were still there yesterday when I was there. I do not think they “face” their items at all. I saw a lady steal an item there yesterday and they did nothing they just let her walk out. They said there was nothing they could do.

… $25 threshold is BEFORE coupon redemption.
So, I dont see that your balance has to be AT LEAST 25.00 AFTER coupons. I email corporate and they said BEFORE coupons.

My store makes me give them the coupons WITH each product and scans them after they ring each product so I do not know how they will work the $25 thing because the order will never get to $25 before a coupon is to be used…. hmmm…Oh well will go and see… thanks for the heads up!

finally got around to calling and my stores are participating! i’m crossing my fingers that people will be too hungover/tired from the 4th that i can pop in early the 5th and get some good bargains before everything is sold out.
