Since I’m on vacation the Kmart Double Deals list won’t be as extensive as usual. On a positive note, though, I’m still listing lots of FREE deals and other fantastic buys! You can also check out my previous Kmart Double deals list here. Lots of those deals will still be valid for the upcoming Kmart doubles.

Kmart Super Double Coupon Rules:

You can double up to and including coupons with a $2 value. That means that a $2 coupon will be doubled up to $4, a $1 coupon will be doubled up to $2. However, a $3 coupon will NOT be doubled at all!

There is a limit of 4 like coupons being doubled in one transaction.

You can only double up to 10 coupons per day when you have $25 or more in purchases. This is before any manufacturer coupons are used, so it should be easy to get up to the $25 amount.

Kmart also does NOT give coupon overage. For example, if you buy a product that is $2.50 and use a $2 coupon. The coupon will deduct $2 and the doubled amount will be .50, so you’ll get the item FREE–you just won’t make money.

  1. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

on the huggies deal, you say to use 5 $2 coupons, but i thought we can only use 4 like coupons???

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    thanks collin!! enjoy your vacation!!

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So Im confused, you are only allowed 4 coupons to be doubled per transaction but in order to get them doubled in the first place you have to spend 25.00? so if you did seperate transactions you have to spend 25.00 each transaction to get the coupons doubled??

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY! And a huge thank you to our service men and women!!!

Anonymous — you are allowed up to 10 doubled coupons per transaction, only 4 of which can be exactly the same coupon. So, for instance, if you have 10 Reynolds Wrap $1/1 coupons, only 4 of them would double, the rest would just be the regular amount, so you should use only 4 of those, and the rest should be other coupons to get the full benefit of doubling.

As far as the $25, it sounds as though you have to buy at least $25 worth of purchases, but this can be BEFORE the coupons, so you will get your purchases for less after they’re deducted. Just make sure you wait to hand over your coupons until after they’ve totaled up you whole order, so that the register hits the $25 mark.

    * * * * *

(However, if you plan to use the $5 toy coupon on the Pictureka deal, that coupon still looks as though you need to spend $25 AFTER all other coupons have been deducted to be able to use the Kmart coupon, so it would be good to combine this deal with your double coupon deals to get well above the $25 level. It’s a shame when you have to have a calculator and a PhD in math to double 10 coupons! Not that I have to worry about it — Kmart avoids doing double coupons in my area. Shucks!)

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Is it 10 coupons doubled or 10 coupons total. I mean, if I use the 5 dollar pictura coupons, would that count toward the 10 coupons. Or no…since the 5 is not doubled?

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If your cashier doesn’t object, the register will double an unlimited amount of the same coupon. It will not automatically stop doubling the same coupon after 4. You should be okay with 5.

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Call your local Kmart & ask how many coupons they are taking. Last month I get an email from corporate saying only 10 coupons, but our kmart was still accepting the 25.

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

so, if i have 2 huggies coupons from the newspaper and 2 from the internet are those considered the same coupons?

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I tried to get the pictureka game and a toy and my total came to $22 and they would not let me use the $5 coupon. So I did not buy anything. Anyone else have this problem? They said they all had to sign papers in regard to coupons and if they violated it they would get fined. I think Kmart has lost their minds. I could not use a Kmart toy coupon on toys??

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone know if there is going to be a pampers cantalina offer going on this week? Thanks.

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi! A while back there was a $2 Huggies coupon from a scanned ToysRUS (I think) brochure here. Hip2Save, or anyone, do you know what I’m talking about and is that a good coupon to use for the Huggies deal? I printed a few but have looked and don’t see it any longer. Thanks so much!

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was able to get 4 Pictureka games for $1.69. My K-Mart had no problem taking the $5/20 and my 4 $5 cpns. I’m looking forward to better deals tommorrow!!

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Are the Kmarts in Boise doing doubles this week???
    Thanks

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

yay, just called my kmart in VA…they are taking 25 coupons instead of just 10!!! They did that last month too!

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Where in VA are they having the double coupons? It’s been so long, I thought we (VA’s) were being treated like outcasts.
    Thanks, Ardena, Ridgeway, VA

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They emailed me and said Norfolk, Va Beach, and Tabb aka Yorktown.

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How were you so lucky to get them to e-mail you? I’ve even sent them an e-mail about having double coupons here – but heard nothing. We’ve only had them here once. I’m on the opposite end of the state from you.
    Thanks, Ardena

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Ardena-
They’ve always responded back. This is the email address I send & get replies back too.

    hope that helps!

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you for the info! Good luck on double couponing tomorrow!!!

hi I just wanted to let you all know that if you wanted to take advantage of the pictureka deal at KMart and you needed a 3rd or 4th coupon (after the 2 coupons listed for print at coupons.com), you can got here and print a bricks coupon 2x also. https://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qgedejr45223872&bt=wg&o=56574&c=FG&p=MUIps0a3 and don’t forget to see the $5 off 20 toy deal scenario that she has posted as well!

    The Knorr pasta/rice coupon is 60c off 2. There is also a 75c off 2 and a $1 off 3.

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this site!!! I saved $50 at kmart, only spent $3!!! Thanks Collin!!!

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anon-would love to hear what you bought. Anyone have any sites for good Kmart scenarios?

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Basically everything I got was off of Collin’s list. I had 3 & 4 of the same coupon, so I used those. My Kmart takes 25 coupons, not 10. So I basically took Collins list & did most of the things that would be FREE.

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Kmart has a more limited selection and higher prices than most stores. My total before coups was $32.75 and after coups was $10.46. Not my best Kmart trip but 68% savings ain’t bad!

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My kmart was not too busy this morning like I had anticipated it to be. I only used 10 coupons and saved 50%. I paid 12.97, but was overcharged for the cereals. I am going to go back and see if I can get the price adjusted. I am not sure on the return policy since this is doubles week. Darn thing is that I gave them q’s and I won’t be able to get them back.

  28. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I found a few other freebies on my trip this morning:

Bic Twin Select Silky Touch 10 pack, $3.49
Used $2.00 coupon from the 6/7 SS
Coupon doubled and item was FREE

Reach “Tooth & Gum” Toothbrush, $3.19
Used $2.00 coupon from 6/21 SS
Coupon doubled and item was FREE

Lysol Disinfectant Spray (Bathroom Tub and Tile Aerosol), $2.67
Used $2.00 coupon from 6/7/09 SS
Coupon doubled and item was FREE

Lysol Disinfectant Spray (Bathroom Tub and Tile Trigger Spray), $2.67
Used $2.00 coupon from 6/7/09 SS
Coupon doubled and item was FREE

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you for posting such great deals. However, I must share my horror story. I just came back from K-mart, had lots of coupons. But much to my surprise, but the cashier starting deducting my coupons, they weren’t doubling. When I mentioned this, her response was that’s only Super K-mart, who’s doubling this week…

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just got back from my 1st Chillicothe, OHIO Super Kmart shop. Plenty of mismarked prices. Had to go back to the service counter twice. They weren’t nice about changing the original $4.69 on the bonus Arm & Hammer Tooth Paste (20% Free for price of the 6oz) instead of 2/5.00. They insisted the bonus toothpatse was at the oringal price. An didn’t read my sale ad properly, instead of Super double up to and including, they are only double up to $2.00, so my 2.00 coupons were just $2.00. I also only had my 10 coupons/trip and I asked the cashier he forgot one but he went ahead and cashed me out without looking and then told me to go to the service counter to settle.

    BAD BAD SHOP

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Jennifer,
I had to return something and they gave me the price of the item without the coupon. So, even if you have to return the cereal then you should be ok.

On a side note Kmart and I have broken up. I had a horrible problem with the diaper deal and had to leave empty handed. The manager was horrible and their Catalina machines were not working. He could not guarantee I would get my catalina. I wanted to get my money and coupons back and he did not want to and argued with me for about 15 mins. I was so exasperated from the idiot cashier and him that I started to cry. I don’t usually do that but it just hit me all of a sudden. I then called customer service from the desk there while I checked out. They were then really nice since I was on the phone with customer care. One of the associates said as I left “take your coupons somewhere else”. They said I should hear from the district manager within 48 hrs. Anyway, I do not know if I can avoid all of the deals but I will not go back to Kmart for awhile. To top it all off I had to leave all of my items and then I forgot my coupons in the cart and had to return to get the coupons. I felt really really terrible. WOW! I guess I was kinda long-winded today but I had to share with someone!

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Kmart allowed me to use more then 10 coupons, and the double coupon signs posted said “limit of 75” there were also a few Kmart Savings Coupons (tear pads) around so I would able to stack those which helped lower a few prices.

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    To Michelle,
I’m so sorry that you had such a terrible experience at K-Mart. They had no right to treat you like that. I’ve gone to K-Mart for double couponing several times, and the majority of the cashiers have been great. During one visit, however, two of my coupons didn’t double, so I went to the customer service counter. The lady there was not nice at all. She acted like I was a big annoyance, and she said, “I hate double coupons!” But I decided I was not going to let one bad apple keep me from saving a ton of money!
So don’t give up, Michelle. Hopefully the district manager will provide some customer service training for your store!
    Diane

  34. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Anon,

Have you tried going to another Kmart. I had a similar horrible experience with the diaper deal at a Kmart. It was taking them forever to resolve and time was running out for me to get the kids from the sitter. In the end, I asked for my money back and they SLOWLY did that.

I took my coupons to another Kmart and it was a very nice experience.

    Just a thought.

    Another Annon

  35. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Simple Green cleaning solution (found in the automative section). I use it in my homemade laundry detergent recipe.
    32 oz fl. oz. $4.49
Use $2 coupon found in July’s Good Housekeeping mag.
    Final cost $0.49

  36. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

my kmart couldn’t give me the catalina coupons either! I went in for $50 in diapers, carefully following all the coupons directions, but no catalina deal at check out. and the cashier had no reason why–she never heard of it. then, i went to customer service, and she said i couldn’t use coupons and the catalina deal both–either one or the other. i said, i did it last double coupon time! she just stared and me and told me it didn’t work. i said fine, you should make that clear on the signage, please return all my purchases. it took me one hour in kmart! they couldn’t figure out how to undouble the coupons, so it was telling them to refund me more than i paid. my husband was in the car with the kids and crying baby. he sent my daughter in 2x to check on me. finally, they called a manager at home, and she said just give me cash, she would work on it later. WHAT IN THE WORLD! getting ready to find a # to call to see if i can find an intelligent person to tell me what is happening!

  37. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Hi,
I did the diaper deal this time at the same KMart it did NOT work at last time we had doubles. I was given the song and dance about using coupons too, then, and I returned everything. They were not happy. This time, I read on Coupon Clippin’ Mama, that if you check out at the service desk, your catalina will NOT print. Last time when it didn’t work, that’s where I checked out. I tried again today, making sure that I used a regular cash register, and it worked like a charm, even with all my coupons. Give it another shot!

  38. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did great at Kmart today. I spent $26.15 for $120.38 worth of merchandise. That’s a savings of 78%. Thanks for all the coupon match ups!

  39. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had a great trip to Kmart tonight. There was no one there, I think I saw three other shoppers the entire time I was in the store. They were fully stocked except for A1 steak sauce and Wisk laundry detergent. My cashier was very friendly and there was no coupon limit. My total was over $60 before coupons and $6.08 after coupons, plus I got a $7 off my next purchase cat.

  40. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went today and used so many q’s the cashier didnt care. My total before q’s $96.00 after q’s $21.54. I am going back later this week to use more $2 Q’s. Thaks Collin!!

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

All of the cereal coupons state that they are not to be doubled or tripled. Save yourself some ink.

  42. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I spent $8 today from the original total of $36.00. Could only use 10 coupons.
They also were not very well stocked.

  43. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had a problem with the cereal internet coupons not doubling at Ralphs last week; has Kmart cut these out too?

  44. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was able to use the buy one get one free panteen from the 7/5 pg with the $2 off from the 7/5 pg. I have 4 meaning I got 8 bottle of panteen for free. But they were poorly stocked. The only thing is that they were taking the coupons off as she scanned the item so I wasn’t able to use the $5 off $50. Still I paid $14.76 for about $52 worth of stuff. Going back today for more!

  45. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you buy a Pantene Pro-V product, don’t forget about their two times the price of the item guarantee. Call 1-800-974-9967 for all the details.

  46. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

did any one elses Kmart require a $25 purchase on GROCERY/DRUG items prior to doubling???

I asked about cleaning supplies counting toward the $25 and was told no- just food and drug store items…

I drove to PA to go to Kmart and walked out with NOTHNG!! They barely even have groceries in the store to spend $25 on…their prices were TOO HIGH, Stock very low- not worth it to me.

  47. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My K-mart in Ohio will only double q’s after a $25 purchase in grocery/drugs. I am not even going to bother going!

  48. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

About the “Diapers” deal. Look at the sign closely, I was fooled by this too, it is not for all huggies products, not for diapers, only for the pull-ups, goodnights, and little swimmers, you only know this from it saying “select huggies products” and having those three icons on the sign, very confusing, so maybe some of the trouble people are having is from trying to use the deal on diapers? That’s what I did….and then returned them all. Got other good deals, but they were out of many of the things I went in for and not sure if the searching with toddler in tow was worth the time and effort to justify the savings. Not sure if I’ll participate next time or not, I’ll be watching comments and decide if anyone is enjoying K-mart or not.

  49. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have been enjoying Kmart doubles this time! Last time was a complete fiasco, but I’ve added up 5 reciepts so far and have saved over 80% – paid $41 for over $212 worth of goodies including 8 bags of diapers/pull ups and 1 swimmies. I have done the diaper deal with a combo of all the different diapers and it’s worked every time. I make sure to check out through a regular cash lane. I might try to come up with another scenario to use and go back yet again… 🙂 Proctor and Gamble has a catalina deal now that I may try out.

  50. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just and FYI….I was told by another couponer here here in my town that the $5 off $50 WILL work if they take your coupons as the scan the items. She said the cashiers that have done that to her have told her she could not use it but she made them scan it and it worked. I would suggest giving it a try. Also mine is not sticking with the “only 10” they are allowing us to use as many coupons as we want in a single transaction. YAY!!
